Chapter 11 I Truly Love You

Sofiah's POV

~

"No!!" I ran down a dark street looking behind me ever so often. "You can't keep running princess!"

'Where am I?' I thought. Blindly I kept running, as I took a sharp right I ran straight into something or someone hard.

"Shit!" I slowly looked up at the man who I remember as the one at the club.

"Oh princess, words like that shouldn't be coming out of your pretty little mouth." He held a knife at my stomach as I heard someone cock a gun and I felt it at the back of my head....~

Jumping up in a cold sweat I looked around realizing I was alone in my bed. 'Wheres jack?' Getting up I stripped on my way to the bathroom. I turned in the shower and got in.

After washing my body and hair. Getting out I grabbed a towel to dry off. As I threw it into the hamper I walked towards the closet picking up my sweaty clothes.

Once dressed in a black tank and dark purple Sofee shorts. I walked into the kitchen getting apple crisps and a bottle of water.

"Jack?" I whispered into the dark living room. Looking around I noticed that the large glass door to the balcony was slightly open.

"Jack, are you okay?"

Sofiah looked so peaceful sleeping, she was laying with her head on my chest. I couldn't sleep, I sat with my head against the head board looking down at Sofiah's beautiful face.

'What am I doing?' I asked my self this questions so many times over the past few days. Why did I feel this way, I haven't known her for very long?

I barely new her, yet I felt like she fit perfectly with me. Now, with her body pressed against mine she molded perfectly to me.

I shouldn't feel this way. I really shouldn't. She's Steven and Sebastian's little sister for crying out loud.

Slowly I lifted Sofi placing her back on the pillow. Getting up I made my way to the guest room only to see that Richard and his girlfriend were asleep on the bed.

Turning I walked to the couch and as I began to sit down I noticed how beautiful the night sky looked. 'Hmm I wonder how it looks out there?'

I was out side for a good twenty minutes when I heard a soft voice behind me.

"Jack, are you okay?"

Looking over my shoulder I noticed Sofiah in a pair short purple shorts, a black top. Her hair was in a ponytail that reached half way down her back.

"I'm okay." I turned noticing her eyes traveling down my body stopping on my bare chest. "I woke up a little while ago I couldn't sleep and I thought I'd come out here." She smiled but it didn't reach her eyes.

"Sofi? Are you okay?" She looked at me with a terrified look in her eye.

"Jack, I'm scared. What if he comes back?" As soon as I realized who she was talking about I enveloped her in a hug. "If he comes back I promise you that I will do everything in my power to keep him away from you." I kissed her temple and felt little shocks between my lips and her skin.

"Plus that guy will have to go through not only me, but your brothers and Richard as well" in that moment I felt whole, like I could take on the world.

"Thank you. I really mean it."

Sofiah

He kissed my temple and I felt little shocks move through my body. 'What the hell?' I though to myself.

"Plus that guy will have to go through not only me, but your brothers and Richard as well."

"Thank you. I really mean it." I smiled at the beautiful man that held me as I thought of how much I would love to kiss him. 'Why the hell do you keep thinking like that?'

"Sofi? Can I ask you something?" Jack let me go as he scratched the back of his head.

"Yea of course," I smiled at him 'he's so hot' gah! Shut up Sofi he doesn't like you like that!' I thought.

"Can I... Uh.. Can I kiss you?" A look of astonishment crossed my face. 'Me?! He wanted to kiss me?!'

Before I could answer I felt one hand cup my face and the other on my lower back pulling my close to his body. And before I could protest his lips were on mine.

Softly Jack Miller kissed me! He bit my bottom lip and I gasped, as he deepened the kiss, our tongues tangled together as I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned into his strong body.

When we finally broke apart I was lightheaded. "Jack," I whispered softly through labored breaths. "Yea baby?"

"I uh... Well um. You see... I." Jack placed two fingers over my mouth.

"I love you Sofiah, I know I shouldn't because I don't know what your brothers would do. But I don't care any more, all I want is to be with you because you make me feel something I've never felt with anyone, and I'd like to feel this way forever. If you don't feel the same I understand, but I needed to tell you because if I didn't I'd go crazy!"

Smiling I nodded slowly. " No! its okay actually I'm glad you said something because I... well... I-I love you too Jack, I truly love you."

As much as I didn't want to be cheesy I think it was! But yay! They finally kissed!!!! I know it's kinda a little bit early in the story but I promise that everything will make sense by the end :)
