Unexpected

Chapter 9. Flash backs.

So I figured that since this is my first story I should go a little more in depth on the background of Sofiah. And why she's so freaked about the guy who tried to "attack" her in the club.

"Sofia. It's late I think I'm going to head back to my dorm I'll see you in the morning." Sidney smiled at me as she began to pack up her books. "Yea I think I'm going to head home too. I'll just finish studying there." I smiled up at Sidney as she walked away from me.

Sighing I began to gather my books and laptop together. Getting up I made my way out of the huge library. Filling the phone in my back pocket vibrate I pulled it out looking at the screen. The picture of my twin brother Stefan smiled up at me. "O que você quer?" (What do you want?) I asked him sarcastically.

"Well hello to you too sister!" Smiling to myself I made my way down the stairs walking towards the parking lot. "Eu estarei em casa em 30 minutos. Eu estou andando para o carro agora" (I'll be home in thirty minutes. I'm walking to the car now.)

"Okay Sof. Sounds good... And dad called a second ago and said that he isn't going to be able to fly back tonight." Stefan made a clicking sound with his mouth in irritation. "It's okay bro he buying out another company. He needs this. It's keeps his mind off her..."

Looking around I remembered where I parked. "I know Sof but he's been gone for a week now!" It made my brother angry when my father had to do business over seas. "Okay Stefan I got it I'll be home soon just chill... And warm up leftovers for me I'm starving!"

Hitting the unlock button on my key chain I opened the trunk to put my stuff in. "Okay see you soon bug." Stefan said hanging up. Looking around I closed the trunk and made my way up to the driver side door.

Before I was able to open it someone wrapped an arm around my waist and pushed me into the truck. "Don't say a word!" The voice sounded familiar but I couldn't turn my head due to the fact that I was being held up against my truck. "And if you scream, I will not hesitate to kill you." Feeling panicked I lifted my right foot and stomped on his.

Letting me go the man backed up. With out thinking I turned and punched him square in the nose. "You bitch!" He yelled lunging towards me. I swiftly moved away from him, lifting my right leg to kick him in the side. The guy fell on the floor and I kicked him once more before I jumped over him to get into my truck.

Suddenly I felt another set of arms on my shoulders turning me to face him. "Stay still princess this wont hurt a bit." He quickly grabbed my arms and pinned them above my head. "Get away from me ass hole!" I screamed in his face as I moved trying to wiggle out of his grasp.

"I'd stop struggling if I were you, you will only make things worse baby." His face was now close to my neck as he started to plant kisses there. "Stop! Get off of me! Help!" I screamed as the guy in front of me made his way up my neck.

"Help!!!! Somebody help me!" I tried to move more but his. Huge body pressed against me harder. "Honey stop moving your making me want you more!" They guy holding me up against my truck covered my mouth with his as one of his hands started moving down my body. Keeping my mouth closed I tried to wiggle my hands free.

"Sweetie come on open that mouth of yours I know you want too." I had almost gotten one of my hands free when the guy in front of me suddenly let go. Opening my eyes I seen that he had been pulled off of me. "Sofiah! Are you okay?!" My best friend ran up to me as a police officer hand cuffed the man that had just been trying to rape me. As another two were picking the other man up off the ground. "I'm fine now Charlie. What are you doing here?!"

My best friend wrapped her arms around me. "Officer Grady and officer Lopez were walking to my car from the campus station, my car got broken into earlier when I left you and Sidney. The doors were unlocked and the car was a mess but nothing was missing. So I called them they took me to the station and I heard screams. Then I heard you say help and we ran over here as quickly as possible!"

Just then a cop car and an ambulance drove up. One of the men that attacked me was being put into the back of the cop car and the other was being cuffed to a gurney. "Miss are you alright? My name is officer Andre Lopez I'd like to ask you a few questions." I nodded as one ambulance drove away and another drive up.

"Follow me please Ms." Officer Lopez placed a hand on my shoulder as he lead me to the now open ambulance. "Can you tell me your name Ms?" Looking up at the man who helped save my life l answered. "Sofiah Lennox." He wrote my name down on a pad and continued. "How old are you Ms. Lennox?" He looked at me expectantly as an EMT began to look me over. "I'm seventeen." I answered.

"And what were you doing here this late Ms?" I looked into his eyes. "I was studying in the library and its late so I decided to leave. I was making my way to my truck when I was pushed against it. The man who was on the ground attacked me I stomped on his foot, turned and punched him in the nose. He tried to lunge towards me and I moved out of the way as I kicked him. He fell and I kicked him once more. I guess I knocked him out? I tried to run too my truck then the second man turned me around grabbed my arms and lifted them above my head he was trying to rape me so I screamed. He was trying to touch me when you pulled him off of me."

I looked at the officer as he wrote down what I told him. "Did either men say anything to you?" I nodded yes and answered. "The first man told me if I spoke he would kill me the second one told not to move." I looked around as people began to gather and talk among themselves. "Okay that's all I needed to know. They are going to be charged with assault and intent to rape, the one you managed to beat up will be in the hospital for a while."

I nodded slowly as I began to feel nauseous. As if on cue the EMT held out a bucket for my to throw up in. "Thank you," I said wiping my mouth on the towel the medic handed me. " you saved my life. I don't know what else to say."

"You don't need to say anything. I'm going to need to get your information you may need to testify. These men were charged with this different counts of assault and rape. You are the only one who has managed to evade that and now they are in custody. Ms. Lennox? You won't have to worry. Everything will be alright. I promise."
