Chapter 2

The next day

you went back into the woods and saw Mirabel and Camilo sitting on a blanket.

You approached them and they both look up

"Hey y/n !" Mirabel gets up and gives you a hug

"Oh hi !" You say startled

"Hi Camilo." You look down at Camilo who's looking inside a basket

"Hey those are for later !" Mirabel yells and slaps his hands away

"Look I brought the colors come on sit down." She takes your hand and sits next to you
You guys color and draw for a while when Camilo says
"Mirabel I'm hungry can we eat now ?"

"Ugh fine here" she hands him an arepa he takes it excitingly
She hands you one and you take it and bite into it

Your eyes light up
"Wow these are so good !"

"I know right my mom made them." Mirabel says proudly

After eating she asks if you're going to be here tomorrow
You hesitate saying you probably will be here
But they didn't know you were only here for a little while your family came for a vacation you didn't know if they'd let you come out tomorrow

The next day
You asked your parents if you could go back to the woods for a little but they said no that you had to pack your things
So you did it quickly and asked again
They said fine but only for a little so you ran out the door and into the woods you went
You saw Mirabel and Camilo were barely arriving
You give Mirabel a hug because you were pretty fond of her she was very nice and it surprised you since you weren't exactly seen as normal although your wings were gorgeous many people saw you as weird they would whisper things and sometimes laugh at you they would tug on your wings one time almost ripping them that's when your family decided to go somewhere new maybe it was for the best

Mirabel nudged Camilo
"Are you gonna give it to her ?" She whispered loudly

Camilo then took a small box out of his pocket he handed it to you
You grabbed it and took the top off inside was a geode, a yellow flower and a piece of paper folded into a square
Camilo spoke and said "I found the rock yesterday and it reminded me of your wings and I wanted to give you the flower back but it was all brown and falling apart so I asked my cousin to make a new one and—" as you unfolded the paper he was interrupted as Mirabel spoke up

"And I made that !" She said pointing to the paper
It was a drawing of you, Mirabel, and Camilo holding hands with you in the middle

"Woahhhh you are a good artist Mirabel"

(A/n you are all like 5 bare with me)

"Thank you!" She said proudly

"And I like the rock and the flower Camilo thank you but I didn't get you guys anything."

"Uhm we know you're leaving y/n. My mom told me." Camilo said

"Oh... I'm sorry I didn't want to make you sad"

You looked at Mirabel who had tears in her eyes

"Mirabel don't cry I'll be back one day !" You hurried and gave her a hug
Then you turn to Camilo who also has tears in his eyes

"Don't be sad or else I'm gonna start crying." You say with tears spilling
You give Camilo a hug
Then you hear your name being called

"I have to go" you say finally letting go of Camilo

"We'll miss you y/n." Mirabel says pulling me into one last hug

"I'll come back and when I come back we can play all day !" You say running off

And that was it

YO SECOND CHAPTER
I feel this was a little dramatic but I like to think they got really attached to eachother even after only 3 days of spending time together
