Chapter 8

Y/n pov:

As Camilo gets up we all walk towards the big circle door
We hear the sound of little feet scurrying on the ground so we quickly turn around and see 3 rats running across and into the eyes and nose of a Bruno statue

We all shudder and Mirabel opens the door and it makes a horrible noise
We head inside and it's very dark 
The door closes loudly behind us
In the middle is a pile of sand with glowing bits scattered around

I dig one up then another

They fit like puzzle pieces

I put them together and find another that fits

"Huh?" I say in confusion

"What's up ?" Camilo says walking over to me

I show him the pieces I connected
It was him

"Why am I—?" Camilo says as Mirabel gasps

She connected her pieces and saw herself
Then the walls started cracking and sand started filling the place
Mirabel quickly grabs her pieces and me and Camilo take the others
As we head towards the door a huge pile of sand falls in front of it
We climb over it and start pushing the door hoping it would open
One last push and it bursts open
With the force of all the sand it pushes the 3 of us towards the edge of the cliff

Camilo being the first one out falls off the cliff

"CAMILO !!" Mirabel and I both shout

I quickly hand the vision pieces to her and dive after him I grab his hand but the force of the fall is too much
In a panic he shapeshifts into a child making him way lighter
I pull him up into my arms
At this point we had almost hit the bottom of Bruno's tower
I put Camilo down and he shapeshifts back into his normal self
I cup his face with my hands

"Are you okay ?!" I look at him frantically

"I'm fine ! I'm fine !" He smiles and pulls me into a hug

I hug him back tightly and put a hand on his head still a bit shaken up

"Guys !!" We hear Mirabel call from the stairs

"I'll go get her." I tell Camilo as I fly up and bring Mirabel down

She pulls both of us into a hug

"Are you guys okay ?" She asks her voice shaky

"We're okay Mirabel." I hug her tightly

"I have all the vision pieces in my bag. Let's go to my room and put them together." She says as we start heading towards the exit

"I cant wait to leave this place." I say relieved
I feel something brush against my hand
I look down and see Camilo's hand very close to mine
I look up at him and smile
He takes a hold of my hand and we intertwine fingers
Just like last time

After exiting Bruno's tower we quickly walk to Mirabel's room but before we get there Mirabel bumps into Abuela

She dusts herself off
"Where are you 3 coming from in such a hurry ? And what is in your hair ?" Abuela asks as Mirabel fixes her hair
Luisa runs up the stairs quickly

"I'm losing my gift !!" She says and Mirabel whispers to me
She takes off her bag and hands it to me

"Go !" She whisper yells

Camilo and I sneak around them and into Mirabel's room
We dump all the shards onto her dresser
As we connect some of the pieces Mirabel comes in
She helps us with the rest of the shards

"Why am I in your vision Bruno ?"

Then someone bursts into the room

"Tía geez." Mirabel says trying to cover the dresser

"Oh sorry." Señora Pepa says pushing the cloud that was above her head

"I'm just here to collect the rest of Tonito's things.. then I heard the name we do not speak of ." The rain cloud formed again
"Great now I'm thundering and thunder leads to a sprinkle and a sprinkle will lead to a drizzle .. clear skies , clear skies." She says as the cloud slowly faded away
Camilo stepped forward and helped his mom with gathering Antonio's things

Mirabel tried asking her about Bruno but she would shut her down until Señor Felix came suddenly came in 
He told Mirabel that Bruno's prophecies always came true

Pepa stepped in front of him and waved a finger in his face

"We don't talk about Bruno no no no"

My bad guys I'm sorry I didn't write but I was just not in the writing mood and I'm not really in it rn but I wanted to put out at least a short chapter
