Later that same day...

Mater rolled off the interstate road into the service station and made his way to the main aisle to get gas. He looked from side to side anxiously as he sat in his spot.

"Where are you, Mrs. Boltarius?" Mater thought to himself.

"Excuse me, sir?" a waitress said.

"Agh!" Mater yelped.

"Sorry! I don't mean to alarm you." the waitress said.

"Oh, that's my bad. I shouldn't have overreacted." Mater apologized.

"It's alright. Did you want to order anything?" the waitress asked.

"Ah, I'm alright, thank you," Mater assured.

"Well, if you want anything, yell out." the waitress offered.

"I will, thanks," Mater said.

The waitress turned around and pulled away somewhat coyly.

A familiar white car pulled up to the aisle next to him.

"Man, your wife would be mad if she saw you flirting with other cars." the white car interjected.

"I wasn't flirting!" Mater disputed.

"It's me, silly." the white car mentioned.

"Mrs. Boltarius?!" Mater jumped around to face her.

"Ah. Eyes forward." Demetria advised.

"Oh, right," Mater said.

"Alright. We're gonna take a drive down the interstate and begin our little adventure. How does that sound?" Demetria suggested.

"Perfect. Let's roll before this waitress makes any more moves." Mater said.

"So you do admit she was flirting with you?" Demetria sniggered.

"No!" Mater exclaimed.

"Alright. Let's go, Mater." Demetria said.

Both Mater and Demetria looked both ways before departing onto the interstate.

"Okay, we're on the move. Anything you wanted to ask?" Demetria asked.

"So, what's this deal with your husband, anyway?" Mater asked.

"What?" Demetria gasped.

"Well, you're obviously going after him. What happened?" Mater asked.

"Look, he went and got himself in trouble." Demetria excused.

"That's not what I heard back at the café." Mater denied.

"He did," Demetria exclaimed.

"This sounds like a problem between the two of you. I'm just coming with you to meet with Finn."

"Dash just got in the way. It wasn't my fault at all." Demetria exclaimed.

"Oh, no. Here she goes..." Mater whispered to himself.

"I was going to be perfectly methodical about this – but no, he had to get himself kidnapped!" Demetria scoffed.

"Are you sure this is his fault?" Mater asked.

"Yes! A thousand percent." Demetria defended.

"Then why are we saving him?" Mater asked.

Demetria stopped in her spot and gave Mater a concerning stare.

"Because – he's my husband." Demetria sighed.
