It was nice and breezy the following morning at the Doctors College. All the graduating students began to empty their dormitories as they began to reunite with their parents.

It was a sight to behold for most, but for Demetria – it was bittersweet.

She sat in her dormitory and continued packing her things. It had been a busy night previously for her, making up for a few years of little to no socializing in one night. She was beyond tired but focused on the future that lay ahead. She packed the last of her things and put them in her trunk. As she headed for the door, she turned around and took one long, last look at her dorm.

"Goodbye, old room," she said.

She rolled down the nearly empty halls as everyone had gathered out front. She rolled up to the courtyard and sat in a spot as hundreds of students reunited with their parents. Demetria stayed conflicted upon witnessing the college for the final time.

Mrs. Davenport caught a glimpse of her star student, rolling over to her as subtlely but as quickly as she could. However, Demetria knew she wouldn't be alone for long...

"Part of me is going to miss this place, Mrs. Davenport," Demetria mentioned as she stood alongside her long-time teacher.

"Part of us will miss you two, Demetria. I enjoyed our time here at the college. You always were a favorite student of mine." Mrs. Davenport comforted.

"I know, you keep reminding me!" Demetria chuckled, causing Mrs. Davenport to do the same.

"We all couldn't be more proud of you, Demetria. You've done so well for yourself here. We wish you all the best on the journeys that lay ahead." Mrs. Davenport responded.

"Thank you. I really hope I find what I'm looking for." Demetria sighed.

"Deme!" a familiar voice yelled out.

Tayla raced up to Demetria and gave her a tight nudge.

"Oh, I'll miss you!" Tayla said.

"Hehe, I will too. I mean we just met, but..." Demetria said.

"You're like a sister to me now! Here's my phone number in case you need it, huh?" Tayla offered.

"Oh, that'd be really nice actually. Thank you."

Tayla wrote down her number and gave it to Demetria.

"You call me when you need to, alright?" Tayla advised.

"I will, thank you!" Demetria smiled.

Tayla raced off ecstatically to her parents; whom she hadn't seen in years.

"Wow, looks like you're taking on my advice. I like to see that, Demetria." Mrs. Davenport admired.

"I give up on being all glum. It's time I had an excuse to be more open." Demetria said.

"That's great to hear. Good things come to those who look on the bright side, young one." Mrs. Davenport

"You're right about that." Demetria agreed.

"So, do you have any idea where you're going now?" Mrs. Davenport asked.

"I really don't know. I don't have anywhere to stay now." Demetria admitted.

"Really?" Mrs. Davenport said.

"Yeah. It's like I'm getting forced out of a home; I'm homeless." Demetria chuckled.

"Well Demetria, we at the college have the power to organize that! Maybe you can stay with someone?" Mrs. Davenport offered.

"That's just it, Mrs. Davenport..." Demetria said.
