Freya Njorddottir is the Norse Goddess of Love. Her father, Njord, God of the Sea, died before she was born. Her mother, Leita, leader of the Valkyrie, died shortly after Freya was born. Freya was taken in and looked after by Frigga and her husband, Odin, the Allfather. She grew up alongside Thor and Loki, the sons of Frigga and Odin. The two Asgardian princes became Freya's closest friends and she formed a tight bond with both of them. When Odin banishes Thor to Midgard for being arrogant and foolish, Frigga sends Freya after the blonde prince in order to bring him home.
