When the Asgardians arrive back at Asgard, Thor confronts his father, "Why did you bring us back?"

The spinning outside dome slows down and comes to a halt, Odin ignores his son and harshly asks, "Do you realize what you've done? What you've started?"

The blonde haired prince defends himself, "I was protecting my home."

Odin lets out a scoff as he states, "You cannot even protect your friends!" He pulls the sword out of the pedestal while asking his son, "How can you hope to protect a kingdom?" Odin throws the sword at Heimdall, who catches it. The king of Asgard turns to the five warriors and addresses them, "Get him to the healing room! Now!"

Without another word, the group guides Fandral out of the dome as Thor speaks to his father, "There won't be a kingdom to protect if you're afraid to act." Freya looks over her shoulder one last time at Thor before she leaves the dome with the other four warriors. Heimdall follows after the group of warriors as Thor continues, "The Jotuns must learn to fear me, just as they once feared you." Loki stands to the side in awkward silence as he watches his older brother and father fight.

Odin stares over at his son while he replies, "That's pride and vanity talking, not leadership. You've forgotten everything I taught you about a warrior's patience."

Thor glares at his father as he raises his voice, "While you wait and be patient, the Nine Realms laugh at us. The old ways are done. You'd stand giving speeches while Asgard falls."

Odin cuts his son off as he shouts at the blonde prince, "You are a vain, greedy, cruel boy!"

Thor matches his father's volume as he yells back to the older Asgardian, "And you are an old man and a fool!"

Odin stares at his son in silence before he slowly looks down to the ground in disappointment and says, "Yes. I was a fool to think you were ready."

Loki takes a step closer to his father and calls out, "Father..." Odin turns his head and lifts up his fist, pointing it at his youngest son. The older Asgardian growls at the raven haired prince, causing Loki to take a step back.

Odin lowers his hand before he looks over to Thor and states, "Thor Odinson, you have betrayed the express command of your king. Through your arrogance and stupidity, you've opened these peaceful realms and innocent lives to the horror and desolation of war!" Odin bangs his spear into the pedestal, causing lighting bolts to surge from it. The older Asgardian steps up to his eldest son and exclaims while removing the metal circles that hold up his cape, "You are unworthy of these realms!" Odin rips the red cape off Thor's shoulders, causing the blonde to turn his head to the side. "You're unworthy of your title! You're unworthy of the loved ones you have betrayed." He stares at his son for a moment before he looks away and turns around. Odin walks back to the pedestal before he turns back around to face Thor with his hand outstretched. "I now take from you your power!"
