The Asgardians and the scientists in the lab walk over to the entrance of the building when they see a dark cloud form in the distance before it funnels down, touching the ground. Freya turns around and rushes to quickly change into her armor. Without looking away from the distant dark cloud, Darcy asks the Asgardians, "Was somebody else coming?"
When Freya returns, the group of nine walk out of the lab and stand in the street. Thor looks over to Jane and tells her, "Jane, you have to leave."
The astrophysicist looks up at the blonde prince and asks, "What are you gonna do?"
Thor looks down at her before answering her, "I'm staying here."
Darcy glances over to Volstagg, who exclaims, "Thor's going to fight with us!"
Thor walks over to stand in front of Volstagg, Sif, and Freya, putting his hand on Fandral's shoulder as he speaks, "My friends, I'm just a man. I'll only be in the way or worse, get one of you killed." He gestures to the civilians around them, "But I can help get these people to safety."
Jane takes a step forward as she says, "Well, if you're staying, then so am I."
Thor glances over at Jane before he looks over to Fandral and continues, "We'll need some time."
"You'll have it!" Fandral shouts as Thor walks away with Jane and Erik. Fandral and Hogun move back to the lab as Darcy shouts out, with nervousness laced within her tone, "Okay, move it, people!" Freya gives Darcy a nod before she rushes off with Volstagg and Sif.
When the Destroyer enters the town of Puente Antiguo, it blasts cars and buildings, destroying everything as it makes its way further into the town. The five warriors walk down the street toward the Destroyer, preparing to go to battle against it. A smirk crosses Sif's face as she informs the Warriors Three, "Keep it distracted." She looks over at Freya and addresses her, "Freya, follow me." The two dark haired Asgardian warriors walk away as the other three warriors walk forward.
The Destroyer sends a beam of orange fire to a gas station, causing it to blow up into flames. The gigantic metal Destroyer emerges through the flames, completely unfazed and unaffected. Fandral and Hogun get into position in front of the hood of a car, ready to keep the Destroyer busy as it nears them. Fandral turns around and gestures to Volstagg, who runs toward the other two warriors. Fandral pushes Volstagg forward as the red haired Asgardian launches himself off of the front of the car as he exclaims, "For Asgard!" Volstagg's battle cries soon turn into cries of pain when the Destroyer back hands the red haired warrior, sending him flying back into the trunk of the car that he launched off of.
The Destroyer approaches the three Asgardian warriors as Volstagg stares up at the gigantic metal machine. The Destroyer stops in front of Volstagg and stares the redhead down before the face of the machine opens up, preparing to blast fire at the warrior. Freya and Sif jump off the roof of a nearby building, both women brandishing their weapons. Both Asgardian women land on the back of the Destroyer, causing it to haunch forward. Sif's spear pierces through the machine and makes contact with the ground as Freya's sword sticks out of the Destroyer's chest. The giant metal machine powers down, causing Volstagg to let out a sigh of relief and for both women to give smirks to the Warrior's Three.
