My head bolted up with swift speed. My head was screaming at me with a million different pains all over my body.
"Huh..?"
I tried to reach my head to soothe my pain but stopped.My attention turned towards not my pain but my restricted limbs that were being chained down.
What the hell..?
That's when I remembered what happened.. and what I wish I could forget.
"Karai?!?" Leo yelled as he turned away from me.
My heart sunk from its newfound high position due to Leo's prideful comment on my fighting.
I let myself sigh but not for long. My attention was snapped back as a foot solider came leaping at me talking me to the ground. That was all it took, one second of my walls to be down for a foot bot to tackle onto me as ten more came piling on.
I struggled under their weight-kicking, slicing, jabbing- I tried but it was no use. Panic felt through my body as I saw a big tiger walk over to me,
"You shouldn't be playing with the big cats little cub. You'll only get hurt" he chuckled menacingly as he pulled something out of his pocket.
"What are you doing..?" My voiced hazed as he leaned down, "NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!!"
I screamed trying to kick him away but his weight towered over my own. He brought the glass tube with purple liquid and a needle at the top near my neck, "NO!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!" I screamed.
He brought the syringe down to my neck as Leo's blue headband came into view. My hopes got up as I tried to reach out, "LEO-"
Purple goo rushed down from inside my neck as I felt my strength plummet. It took all my strength to breathe and keep my eyes open. My arms and legs went limp. Tiger claw said something into an ear peace. He picked up my limp body as I tried to claw and kick but none of my limbs would move.
He jumped onto a crate as I saw the feet of other mutants.
That's when I heard it.
"NO!!!"
A blood curtailing scream ringed through my ears.
Leo's scream.
Followed by everyone else, screams of desperation that I knew were meant for me. I wanted to help but.. I couldn't. I stayed limp but conscious.. barley.
As we started moving I noticed from the corner of my eye a emerald green turtle catching up on us.
I wanted to smile, to cheer him on. I wanted to be there for him.
That's when I noticed a white snake behind him.
"LEO!!"
"LOOK OUT!!" I wanted to scream.
But nothing. I watched him fall to the ground desperately clawing his body to moved towards me as Karai bit him again, a loud exhausted groan escaped from his lips. He reached out in a final attempt to take me back, but that's all it was.. an attempt. As he moved away from view I felt my arm slightly move up.
As I longed to reach for him back.
