"I'm sure she is. Why won't she be?" I sipped on the glass of grape juice and as soon as it went down my throat, I stole a glance at Jake who seemed pretty worried. Is that because of Eryn? Well, there's only one way to know the answer. "You're worried, aren't you?"
"That's normal, isn't it?" Quite amazed by the way he talked back, I mischievously chuckled as I felt like having a gist of what will be happening for the rest of the days. This is gonna be thrilling and fun for sure.
"I think so? Look, you don't have to be so defensive, Jakey. I just asked if you're worried about Eryn and all you had to do is to answer yes or no."
