Meanwhile, outside leaning on his Bentley Mulliner Bacalar, Jake would occasionally sigh out of either nervousness or excitement because of the thought of having a new friend inside his car for a ride. Beads of sweat are evident on his exposed forehead, but he didn't mind swiping them off. She won't notice, tho. That's what he thought.
He bit his lower lip, entertaining himself for a while through his phone as he waits for her. The dark circles around his eyes, which aren't that much noticeable, are a proof that he's been up all night facing his laptop. He made himself busy looking for some great places where he can take her, but only end up undecided. And right now, it's a total headache for him whether he should come up with a plan or just be spontaneous by taking her anywhere she wants to go.
"Hey, Jake!" His eyes left his phone as soon as he heard his name being called, now focused on the girl waving in front of him. Jake definitely has something to say to her, but his coward self dominated his whole system in just a finger snap.
Fucking gorgeous.
"Hey, Eryn! So.. c'mon?"
"Let's go!" Jake opened the car door that leads to the shotgun seat, Eryn hopping in after mouthing a sweet 'thank you' to the nervous guy. He then checked the time on his Patek Philippe watch which indicates the right time to finally sped off the road. He hopped in after her, stepped on the engine and drove with a 55 mph speed.
