Licia's eyes slowly opened, welcoming in the bright light of her phone screen, she must've forgotten to turn it off before she went to sleep. The girl groaned, picking it up to see if the notification was anything important.
One message from: E

Sorry 4 wut happened. Meet on 67th ASAP.Licia read the message and scowled, he was messaging like it was 2013, and acting like an 11 year old. She sighed and switched her bedside lamp on, it illuminated her bedroom and only then, she realised it was the dead of night. 2:37am to be precise.

There in 5She threw her phone down on her bed and ran to her drawers, pulling one out and dragging a black, scaly-looking garment out of its depths. The girl quickly slipped the suit on and her mask, as well as pulling on a long dark trench coat which helped her hind her figure and blend into the darkness. She jumped up, pushing her skylight window open doing so. Licia, now deemed The Black Cat slipped out the window and into the night.
The cloaked-cat ran down the avenues, passing blocks and blocks. It didn't take long because 63rd st wasn't too far from her location, much to her concern.
The randevu point was a darker side of a wall, hidden from plain sight. A small figure was dimly lit by a far street lamp, barely flickering. Licia kept her hood up and casually approached the wall.
"He said to meet you here" the person said, their voice shaking, obviously quite nervous.
"What's he got" she asked him as she glanced around to see if there were any on-lookers. They were safe from prying eyes, for now. The man stepped forward gingerly, out of the shadow and placed a small duffel bag down.
"What's this?" She questioned, untold that she would be receiving something. "Is it of interest?" She asked again, eyes glued to the duffel bag. The figure retreated back, sheltered by the wall and winced at her words.
"Read the note" their shaky hand extended and pointed to a piece of brown paper attached to a strap. "He wants you to read it"
The Black Cat hooked the bag onto her foot, and dragged it to her, aware of the risks. She knelt down and eyed the paper, eventually picking it up and tearing it off the bag strap. It took a while for her eyes to adjust, thanks to the shit lighting, but it was just about legible.
In this bag are the necessary weapons for this job, I am aware this is an unsolicited assignment. 2, 7" daggers. A key card. 2 hair slides. 1, L96A1 sniper rifle, fully loaded, safety:on. Rifle wrapped in this weeks Daily Bugle.
You will take the daggers, key card and hair slides and keep them with you.
You need to dispose of my messenger, how you will, I don't care. As long as he is dead.
I need you to take the duffel bag, containing the rifle and drop it off at The Horse's Crow, on floor 23, room number 8. Be there prompt, time is a virtue.
Rest I will leave in your hands. I am counting on you. Expect a handsome sum of money in pay.
- Erol
As the girl read the parchment her eyes widened, he better be joking. She sighed and stuffed the paper into her pocked, once again crouching to inspect the bag. It's content was as read, down to today's date. Licia kept her gloves on as she picked up the two daggers, inspecting them. The man in the shadows was still there, shaking and, probably sweating.
