I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "What?" I asked, as I gripped into the sides of my seat, trying to stop my hands from visibly shaking.

"Are you," he began, "the Black Cat" my eyes widening, knowing S.H.E.I.LD were onto me.

"The thief?" I exclaimed, imminently bursting out into laughter after that.

Bruce watched me practically howl in confusion, "I'll show you the facts - Licia? Am I right calling you that?" He asked and I nodded, trying to keep a straight face.

"Firstly," he held up a picture of me in my Black Cat costume, captured in CCTV cameras, presumably outside the bank, "you look very similar to our perp - No?" I slowly nodded, understanding what he meant, still with a big, dumb smile plastered across my face.

"Then.." he continued as he flipped through the pieces of paper on the clipboard, looking very confused, "Will you excuse me a minute" Bruce abruptly got up and left the room, leaving me on my own. I then heard a door slam in, presumably, a room behind me and multiple voice talking to one another.

"The only piece of, so called "proof" you have - is that she looks like the black cat?" A muffled Bruce shouted angrily at Nick and Spider-Man, "And you've gotten me to interview her, assuming that this young girl - is a criminal? Comical" Bruce sarcastically laughed, slamming his clipboard down.

Spider-Man then spoke up, though he was too quiet for me to hear. Him, Bruce and Nick finally walked back through, "We have one more thing we want you to do" said Nick.

"An arm wrestle" Spider-Man said as Bruce scoffed and Nick smirked. Looking at the trio I quirked my eyebrow, slowly nodding.

I watched as Spider-Man sat down on the other chair and propped his elbow up onto the table, widening his hand so I could grab ahold of it. I placed my hand in his and as he close it, his fabric-covered bend engulfed mine, not by much though.

We began to exert force onto one another - I could tell he began going easy on me. As I knew he was slowly going to build up strength, I kept using the same amount of force, being careful not to show him my full strength, even if it did mean I was going to lose. I scrunched up my nose as I felt his power increase, acting as if I were trying to fight against in when, in reality, I'm sure I would completely wipe him out in this, I just wasn't trying. I could feel my face heat up as my forearm came in contact with the cold table, meaning I had lost the wrestle. Sighing, Spider-Man got up, making sure to keep eye contact with me.

"But her- she is so strong!" The boy shouted at Nick Fury in annoyance, "She pushed me out of a window for god's sake!" He said pointing at me.

Bruce watched the pair as he shook his head and pinched his nose Bridge, "Look -" he said, talking to me again, "We're sorry for wasting your time, we can get you a cab - or if you'd like, Spider-Man can swing you back home" he offered, opening the door for me, letting me out.

"I'll take the cab please" I gave him and the other two men a shit-eating grin, knowing they had fallen victim to the chronic bad-luck effect I have on people - I'd argue that it's actually one of my superpowers.

Spider-Man stepped in front of me before I could get into the elevator, "Let me take you home" he said as , presumably, his eyebrows furrowed - I think anyways, those eye hole things became really small, as if he was judging me.

"No, no it's alright" I awkwardly said, trying to get past him, "I'll be 'too strong' for you anyways"

I kept manoeuvring but he would keep stepping in front of me, finally leaning on the doorframe, "I insist"

Knowing I'd end up getting whisked away and swung home anyways I groaned, "Fine" as he held out his hand, I took it and before I knew I was flying through New York's midnight air. I watched people in their apartments as we swung from building to building, narrowly missing walls and lamp posts.
