Lance's pov
After searching around the world for that missing piece in my life, after so many faces in sunrises, I found the one who keeps me grounded, the one that loves me unconditionally, the one who despite me being an ass most of the time sees through that shell I build around myself. Today, she was gonna be mine forever, I don't know how I got the luck to be with her, all I know is that I am standing in front of the altar waiting for her.
-10 minutes later-
There she is, the doors open and reveals the most beautiful woman I could ever see. With the dress accentuating every curve of her body, she looks just like an angel. She starts walking down the aisle and everyone stands to look at her. Needless to say, I am nervous, shaking and my hands are sweating like crazy. They leave her at the altar and we hug each other, I kiss her cheek and whisper in her ear just loud enough for her to hear me.
"You look absolutely beautiful" which she slightly squeezes my hand and giggles.
The ceremony went all so smoothly and it was time for us to exchange vows.
"Lance you can now tell your vows to Y/N," the minister says and I search for the vows that I wrote.
"Y/N, my beautiful darling. You came into my life at the moment I would probably say I needed someone like you the most. You have been the light in my life, the water for my thirst, the comfort through hard times, and overall my safe place. You have done nothing but love me and treat me like royalty. I promise and make this oath to worship you every sunrise and every sunset, I will give you comfort, love, kindness, and every piece of me. Till the universe decides it is the end for us. I love you my darling, my light, my Y/N" I said trying not to cry my eyes out
She wipes a tear away from her eye and holds my hand tighter
"Lance, my golden boy. What is there left for me to say that you don't already know? I promise to remain loyal to you, to love you with every fiber of me, promise to keep you safe and promise to be by your side till it's the end of us in this world. You are my fire, my safe place, my love, my universe. I love you my dear golden boy" She said shedding more tears as we put the rings on each other.
"I pronounce you, Husband and Wife, you may kiss the bride," the minister says, without second-guessing I gently pull her close to my chest and kiss her gently as everyone cheers for us. This day, this moment, surpasses every championship, every trophy, and every medal. Since I finally found a love worth worshiping.
