Chapter 14 - Caught Red Handed

"To the emergency button. Now." Ocean said, grabbing me and Aubbie's arms and dragging us away.

Did we finally catch the Imposter?

The sound of the emergency button blared in our ears as Ocean slammed their hand on it.

Within minutes, everyone was at the table.

"What is it now?" A familiar voice groaned in annoyance. It was Sadie.

Well, you did a good job avoiding her until now.

"Someone is dead." Aubbie announced, as Ocean raced away to tend to Squishy, although they knew it might already be too late.

"I've had enough of these dumb meetings. Let's just vote out Caylee and get this over with." Sadie said.

Excuse me, what the fu-

"She's safe." Aubbie said defensively. "We were together at cams. With Ocean."

"That's exactly what an Imposter would say." Sadie said. "You both could be Imposters, for all we know."

"I would punch this girl if I could." I whispered to Aubbie, who nodded in return.

"See? They are making a plot, right now! Somebody eject them!" Sadie said.

"Relax." Calypso said. "That's the first thing you need to do. Second of all, there is only one Imposter here. I know this because if there were more than one, crewmates would be dying at a quicker rate. These two are safe, for Christ's sake."

Syn facepalmed. "You just embarrassed yourself, Sadie."

"Oh shut up." Sadie said, hitting Syn's shoulder.

"So, who are we voting for?" Budgie asked.

Aubbie cleared her throat. "What if I told you all, that me, Caylee, and Ocean all saw Budgie kill Squishy on cams?"

Everyone gasped, including Budgie.

"How could you assume I would do such a thing?" Budgie asked, horrified.

"Huh. I guess we found the Imposter." Personify said.

"We caught you in 4k, you aren't getting out of this one." Aubbie said.

Budgie waved her hands around. "I didn't do it! I really didn't!"

"Everybody stop!" Calypso announced. "Get ready, it's time to vote again."

A/N: This book is SKYROCKETING in reads and I'm honestly shocked... also if I'm not getting your character's personality well please tell me what your person would do. Lately I've been feeling like I'm not getting the personalities right.
