It has been a year since it happened and I still can’t find my wife. We learned that the mole was the drive and he is already in the basement with his stupid boss living in hell.

I still haven’t kill those two as I slowly torturing them. But they would be finally saying good bye in this world today.

I look up at the bottle of toxin in front of me. I haven’t tried poisoning them for the past years to make sure that time will be succeed. They would die slowly and painfully.

The door in my office open and George enter.

“We still haven’t any lead. And like you said we couldn’t find any body which is the possibility that she’s alive but it been a year Bro” he said and I just pay him no mind.

After confirming that there’s no body everyone have high hopes that she’s alive but it’s been a year and almost all of them lost hope.

“Just get out if you have no other things to do George. And feed them this” I said and throw the bottle at him which he easily catch.

“Okay” he said and take his leave.

“I know your still alive, amore” I whisper looking at her photo place beside my pen holder.

I spend the rest of the night lock up in my office finishing documents from both my company and mafia related.

After the attack of Gustavo and downfall news spread underground on how I defeated him, hence many other mafia family wanted to have an alliance with me.

“Don’t you think you need to also take a rest?” someone said and when I look up it is just George again.

“Have you finish what I told you about?” I ask him and focus on the documents about the finance budget for the next project of the company.

“Yes, I did. She wouldn’t want to see you like this you know. Not eating and sleeping properly. You’re back with your bad habit of not taking care of yourself” he said followed by a sign but I pay him no mind.

“Were leaving for Italy this weekend” he said and I just nodded at him.

We needed to go back in Italy because we also need to take care of the mafia there. But I make sure to leave Marco here to investigate on my wife’s disappearance.

“And we are going to a restaurant tomorrow for lunch with a client” he added.

“I know that. If you have nothing else to say just leave already” I said coldly and after a few seconds I heard the door closed.

I look at my watch and it’s already 9 in the evening. I skipped dinner…again.

Not that I mind. I have been like this ever since… she came in my life.

How ironic. The reason why I change for good, like doing great, would also be the reason why I came back in me being so loner, being back in my old self.

How I wish I could time travel and change the past. My mom doesn’t like what I have been after she learn what happened to Glyn. I haven’t heard from her father, not like I care about him.

I am actually starting to lose hope just like others. It’s been a year since it happened and we never have any lead.

What I am holding right now to believe that she’s still alive, is that there is no body found or any traces that could be used as DNA to confirm her death.

I just decided to go to the kitchen and get a light dinner and came back again in my office.

It became my routine. Go to the company, work, sign paper, attending meeting, going back home, work, eat, sleep and back again.

And just like any other day I am now in the restaurant where I am currently meeting with the client with George. They actually insist of having a lunch meeting instead of meeting in my office.

George taking advantage of it to not make me skip lunch agreed almost immediately on where we meet and that is why we are here in this restaurant George suggested.

The meeting ended faster and I wrap things up. I bid them good bye and went to the parking lot not until I notice a woman.

Her body look thin, but not too thin and blonde hair. She look around the parking area and that’s when I notice her face, especially her eyes.

Hazel.

Glyn

I quickly run towards her but she also started walking. I saw her looking something at her phone and turned around the corner until we are out in the parking lot.

“Glyn!” I started calling her but she never respond or turned towards me.

She crossed the street and saw her meeting someone. It’s an old lady holding something but I can’t distinguish what it is.

They talked for a minute before leaving together riding a taxi.

I can’t catch up with them so in take my phone instead and snap a photo on the taxi’s plate number.

I am sure of it. She’s Glyn.

She’s alive.

I dial Marco’s phone number and instructed to track the plate number of the taxi.

I run back in the parking lot and drive towards the base. I know it. She is not dead. But if she is alive, why didn’t she come home? And who was that old lady she’s with?

I don’t remember any old lady that she’s close with aside from her nanny. But I know her past nanny’s face and it is far from the face of that old lady she’s with.

I already have a lead in finding you, amore. Just wait and we will be together again. And this time I will make sure to never lost you again.
