Chapter 3

Hatred

While at school, Neo and Zaria walks through the halls with the hands wrapped up and there face badly bruised. People would ask them what had happened but they would just say it was training accident and it should be of no concerns. Knowing that if word got out that stye were the ones who did it, more conduit would out bounties on their heads and come after them and their lived ones; so they mostly kept quiet. The two saw Tien and Sophia and grab them and force them into the school's library.

Neo and Zaria find a safe and disclose location where they tell Sophia and Tien about what had occurred one the weekend.

Tien: Sophia are you serious so that what really happened? Why aren't most people in the know. I was outside of the country and I hear it was experiment gone wrong.

Zaria: I'm guessing that my uncle doesn't want the public to know what goes in this country. The less the outside knows the better. It might tarnish the countries reputation and they'll look at us like we are weak.

Sophia: But there's real threat out here. People and conduits that wants to kill us in the blink of an eye.

Neo: All I know there is something going on in Navi, something big is happening. Something that they're trying to cover up.

Tien: The main goal we need to focus on is getting stronger.

Neo: I agree. But we gotta get through this school nonsense. How's the family doing Tien?

Tien: They're alright. Over the weekend I was mostly just mediating and practicing my swordsman skill in the mountains. I think I've improved much in just the first week of school.

Team 7 keeps quiet about what happened. Neo kinda went back to his old self of being a delinquent in school but he was a lot more humble than he was before, he just had a bit more swag in his walk. Sophia mostly keeps to herself and is primarily focused on her brother and find out more on the Red dragon syndicate. Zaria, after school, check on her family in hospital everyday after school is let out. Tien continues to meditate and work on his sword skill as well was mixing in hand to hand combat. Tien felt it was necessary to bring up a topic towards Zaria of all people when the two run into each other while studying in the library.

Tien: Hey, Zaria.

Zaria: What's up Tien.

Tien: I have a serious topic I want to bring up.

Zaria: Alright. Talk to me.

Tien: What made you hate both your conduits and humans?

Zaria: Where did this come from?

Tien: I just want to get an understanding of where all this hatred comes from. I see it a lot of hatred in the world of Navi.

Zaria: *sighs* The reason I grew to hate both my kind and the human race was because of the fact that, the war wouldn't have happen had humans not migrated to this planet. We were once humble and willing to cooperate with them, but they became devils in our eye once they started feeling obligated to backstab us and take our land. They came with open arms and their teachings of peace and prosperity for all but that soon turned into greed and massacre fo conduit. Underlining tactic used to wipe out our race. This is what my family told me. I still can't believe my uncle still has so much faith in humans.

Tien: I see, and what about conduits

Zaria: *sigh* my distain for the conduits, is the way they treated my family. They treated us as if we were outsiders, willing to dismiss us at any given point. Society turned its back on us countless number of times. When the war was over, even when we thought we were the good guys , society treated us like we were animals. So If they hate us so much, when blood is spilled. I have no sympathy for humans or conduit. I guess you can say I've been give the bad ned of the stick when it comes to life. Only seeing hatred I was born in hatred. Maybe I'm cursed, who knows
