Chapter 10 - Destiny

Back in Kemet Princess Zaria was still in a coma due to the injuries she suffered in Mubai. The city was experiencing some form of peace these days. Festivals and parties were being held. Man, women and children were all happy. Teddy was sitting bedside next to Zaria as Grandma Sheryl walked in.

Grandma: Son, how long has it been since you've walked out of the house.

Teddy: It's been a year since my daughter was hurt by that asshole.

Grandma: You don't know the full truth of what happened. Even his mom and dad want answers.

Teddy: I don't know mom. I just hate myself that I wasn't there to protect her. My own daughter, I failed to protect my family

Grandma: You beat yourself up too much son. You have to let her spread her wings and flying her own. She makes mistake just like everyone else and she learns from it. The fact that she's here shows that her mistake didn't cost her, her life. Delta squad as a whole been through a lot. Remember they were just teenagers a year ago. They've been through tough times, strain, and pain.

Teddy: You never told me what you saw mamma Sheryl. You kept quiet this whole time about what happened in Mubai and everything else prior. What the deal? Even the twin, I know they're lying to me. I'm their father I deserve to know

Grandma: Just like they deserve to know their real father.

Teddy hangs his head in disgrace.

Teddy: We sworn to never to bring that topic up again.

Grandma: Well...it seems like we all have hidden stories throughout the years. Don't you think you owe them that truth?

Teddy: Some things should remain unsaid.

The twins (Kiara and Gus) were out and about enjoying their day around town. But a conversation needs to be had.

Gust: Kiara, when you do you think sister will wake up again.

Kiara: I don't know Gus

Gust : Do you think she will have some hatred towards Neo?

Kiara: Who knows what she'll think. All I do know something doesn't feel right. I feel a slight pain in my stomach.

Gus: What do you have idea of what I could be?

Kiara: Can't say, but I hope sister wake up before it happens. Far as I'm concern Neo's gone. Who knows what happened to Tien and Sofia, Chairman Victor, and the Shadow company aren't around. We're too young to fight against any treats. Mom and Dad are our only form of protection.

Gus: you seemed really shaken up about everything.

Kiara: Thinking about it isn't going to help. We have to go back to the mansion. I don't think it's safe out here.

The twins rush to the mansion.

In her deep coma, Zaria begins to relive the nightmare of the constant battles she's been through. She begins to sweat in her sleep. She relives the horrors she saw in Mubai and seeing what Neo had become. She sees her past and her upbringing and how everything is coming full circle. When her life begins to flash before her eyes she suddenly wake up out of her coma and lets out a loud scream that can be heard throughout the entire mansion. When she finishes yelling, the twins walk into her room.

Gus & Kiara: Sister!

*The entire Williams family walks in soon afterwards*

The Williams: Zaria!

Zaria is shell shocked to see everyone right in front of her.

Zaria: Where am I? What happen to me?
