Chapter 7 - Recovery Arc(Time Skip Arc)

——————1 Year Time Skip——————

A year has past and much of the tension is still boiling between many of the bordering countries many mafias, gangs, and other organizations hear about what has happened to Sodom, and so many countries spend an entire year trying to build up their defenses. Zaria is still in a medical coma. Neo is nowhere to be found, Tien has become a hot commodity in the Kemet with his newfound strength. Sophia and Team 10 is still on the run. Teddy and Victor sit by her bed.

Victor: It's been a year and my baby has yet to wake up. I'm going to find and kill that boy.

Teddy: to be honest, I wonder if that boy is even still alive? For a whole year nobody has seen or heard from him. It's like he completely vanished or died off.

Victor: Maybe I was too hard on my baby girl. I wanted to push her to be something great, but I ended up making things worse.

Teddy: It's a mistake that you couldn't ave prepared for.

When do you think she'll wake up brother?

Victor: Who knows? I'm not a doctor.

Teddy: did you ever tell her the truth.

Victor: No, but I'm pretty sure she knows now. All this time I was trying to protect her yer I was just pushing her away more and more. I will make it right though.

Teddy: What are you going to do?

Victor: Every problem has a core.

Teddy: Okay what does that have to do with anything.

Victor: I'm going to Nubai alone

Teddy: Are you insane?

Victor: no

Teddy: Do you have any idea what you're getting into? That sort of mission is definite suicide.

Victor: yes I am aware but, if I am going to end all of this; this must be done. I can't sit back anymore. I must go, I must fight. My family is at risk now. Is my duty to finish this!!

*Victor hands Teddy a letter to give to Zaria whenever she wakes up*

Victor: give this to her, hopefully this will provide some closure and ease much of the pain that I've caused her.

Victor leaves the room of Zaria and as he goes out he is stopped by Grandma Sheryl.

Victor: Do not try and stop me mom

Grandma: I won't try and stop you. I just want you to be sure is this what you really want.

Victor: Yes, I will be back before you know it.

Grandma: Will this really solve anything, so much damage has already been done. My grand baby is not in a coma for god knows how long. If you can stop this peacefully, then go. I just want my baby to grow up with a father. You've kept the truth from her long enough.

Victor: I was tryin to protect her

Grandma: protecting a child by having her uncle play the role of the father is not protecting anyone. Son, I'm going to have to call a spade a spade. That is a cop out and cowardly move. Make things right.

Victor: Every man must make a decision in life. I made mines and I was wrong. Now it's time to redeem what little I have left.

Victor goes throughout the house in the middle of the night, kissing all his children and his wife (LaTasha) on the forehead and leaving without saying much other than "I'm sorry" and "I love you" Victor then goes to his office at dogun academy and places a letter for Tien on his desk.
