Chapter 8

Chapter 8: Resurrection

Victor lands on Nubai, a distance land far away from any civilians. Victor knows this land all too well as he begins to walks the straight path toward a large castle. As they along the land the island air grow thicker and thick, the atmospheric pressure was intense all around the land. Victor would soon arrive at the palace. Victor is able to get pass the gate without activating any trip wires or breaching the systems.

Victor would soon infiltrate the palace and walks into the first floor. There he walk around observe the many things and get a sense of nostalgia as this place seems all too familiar. Victor walks through the hallways of the first floor and begins to reminisce time before the war.

[Flashback between Father and Victor]

Father who wheres a black robe in order to hide his appearance from the world. He and Victor are traveling through the Milky Way galaxy in search for planets in which the conduit race could survive.

Father: When we find a new world, where our people can thrive. For years our race have been subject to constant battle, it time we settle down and expand our race beyond the horizon, to make a brighter future.

Victor: Maybe both of us can finally start a family.

Father: Yes, though if have a child, I will try my best to shield them from this world, I will train.

Victor: Why

Father: Hopefully by the time that day arrives, he will have no need to fight, I would have done all that for him. They can live in peace, a new world which their dreams could be lived. Wouldn't you want that for you children

Victor: Yes, but it will be difficult to hide my children from the world, when they grow up and they face challenges they won't know how to handle the trials they go through.

Father: Well when that time come, he will learn what responsibility and accountability really is. I will be proud of no matter the path he chooses. What I do know is our people will become the superior race.

[Flashback ends]

???: You've come back "little brother"

Victor:hmm....Okiku? It's been a while

Okiku: You haven't changed a bit it seems. Do you still believe in your ideology of true peace in this world.

Victor: Though time has pasts since we've last spoke, well since I last spoke to anyone. I still hold onto my philosophy. This world will become peaceful once again.

Okiku: Yet you turn your back on the same organization, that could've rules this world. The human race could've been slave under our control.

Victor: In order for peace and freedom to be achieve, there can be no form of slavery. The human race may have flaws, but they do not deserve to enslaved.

Okiku: And that is why you will fall!

Okiku wastes no time in attacking Victor. She clotheslines and kicks Victor making him fly away. Okiku grabs Victor by his leg and slams him from side to side. Victor fight back delivering numerous punches and tries to use his soul punisher but he is stopped. He pounds her into the dirt and while he's doing that she smile and says "Oddly enough. You have no idea how much I'm enjoying this so much". She then turns the table by grabbing Victors arm and slam him on the ground. She lift and stomp on the ground below, opening up a rift that Victor nearly falls into. She then levitates into the air and creates a giant energy ball with just one finger however, Victor is able to deflect the blast back at Okiku with just one hand. She punches the blast to oblivion. And the two holds a stared down. Victor then creates a yellow Arua around his fist and dashes at Okiku. She begins punching her and as he throws his punches it gets harder and harder to keep her guard up because with every punch, the next one becomes 10 times more stronger & more impactful than the previous punch. She hold her own until she lets her guard become weak for just a split second and Victor delivers a blow to her stomach. Okiku falls to the ground holding her stomach but laughing while in pain.
