Chapter 9

Chapter 9 - Observation

The following day, team 7 met up at Ichiraku's for breakfast, as per Naruto's demand that is. "So Kakashi sensei, what will we be doing today?" asked Sakura curious, it would've had to be important since Kakashi showed up on time. 

"We're going to be having a training session as per the hokage's request. He'll be observing us, if he likes what he see, he'll reward us with a land of tea mission." Kakashi explained.

"What do you mean by land of tea mission? Is there something special about it?" asked Sasuke confused. "Yes- no, well, it depends on how you personally see it. Usually missions from the land of tea rewards spa days instead of money. The land of tea has the best spas available, but it's quite weird if I think about." Kakashi said, now curious.

"What's weird about it?" asked Naruto. "The land of tea doesn't usually send missions to the leaf. Though this might be because of our new hokage, he might have connections there." 

"Well, what are we waiting for? Finish eating and let's go." said Naruto excitedly. Kakashi chuckled before agreeing with Naruto for the others to hurry.

Yesterday's events

"Naruto!" scolded Haku, "Look what you did! I'm filled with bite marks." she whined. "Your teammates are gonna have questions." she told him. "My 'teammates' shouldn't be seeing your boobs." he countered with a raised eyebrow. She pouted before continuing.

"Yes, that's true but weren't you going to have them go to the land of tea?" she asked adjusting her clothing. "When we go to the hot springs, the females will see." she said embarrassed. "I just not have them go, it all really depends on their performance." he reminded her placing a kiss on the back of her neck.

"Unfortunately, I have work to do and you're veryy distracting." he said placing emphasis on the very. Her face went red, she checked her clothing in the mirror one last time before leaving

"Lord Hokage your early." said Kakashi surprised, he had wanted a few minutes to train and observe them privately to see their performance first but it seems like that idea is gone to the wind. "Since you're here, why don't you warm up while we wait on the others?" he asked, his voice sounded kind, he sounded as if he was in a good mood. 

'I wonder what happened.' Kakashi thought before he turned towards his genin, did you guys learn chackra control?" he asked hoping they'd say yes  "Chackra control?" Sakura asked confused. 'Damn.' he thought

"Yes, chackra control, it enables you to do thing like this." replied the hokage now standing upside down a tree branch. "To teleport or stand upside the branch?" Naruto asked leading to Sakura smacking him the head before speaking. "Obviously stand upside down idiot." "I know, I know." said Naruto rubbing his head.

Naruto said nothing more as Kakashi and the hokage teach them the basis of chackra control.

It didn't take much longer for the other teams to arrive. "What are you guys doing?" asked Kiba after greeting the hokage, walking over with his team. "Learning chackra control." replied Sakura as she tried making her way up the tree for the umpteenth try. 

"You guys don't don't chackra control? Then again you aren't from any clan. Well, not any alive one that is" Kiba mocked. Sasuke was going to jump him but Naruto's voice broke him away from his vicious thought.

"Speak for yourself." said Naruto floating upside down causing everyone to look in amazement. "What? Ho-how are you doing that?" asked Kiba shocked.  'How dare this nobody show me up.' he thought angrily.'

"With enough chackra control you should be able to do at least this much." he lied, you'd more than just chackra control to do that, you'd need wind affinity as well.

"Ok, ok. Since your all here let's start the observation." said the hokage breaking the tension.
