Mrs. Kim widened her eyes, checking out Chaewon with Chaewon nodding in agreement.

"I am Doyoung's girlfriend, Mrs. Kim." Chaewon flashed a smile.

"Oh my goodness!" Mrs. Kim placed her hands over her own cheeks. "Your girlfriend is so beautiful and so respectful. I like her." Mrs. Kim smiled.

"Thank you very much." Chaewon bowed.

"Eomma, I think you're overdoing-" Doyoung spoke up only to get interrupted by his mother.

"Silence my son!" Mrs. Kim shushed him. "Chaewon, you are always welcome to visit the building anytime you like. After all you will probably be my son's first and last relationship." Mrs. Kim winked.

"Hey! Eomma!" Doyoung pouted as he saw Chaewon letting out a chuckle, placing her hands over his.

"Don't worry Mrs. Kim, Doyoung will be in good hands. I can assure you that." Chaewon responded to her.

"Good!" Mrs. Kim looked down on her watch. "Oh look at the time! It's getting late, you guys should be heading home. You have another day at school tomorrow! Rest up!"

"We'll see you around Eomma." Doyoung bowed as Chaewon did the same, trading goodbyes.

Doyoung and Chaewon took the elevator down to the building, now walking to their car.

"Your mother is a very nice woman." Chaewon complimented while walking with him side by side.

"She seems to like you a lot." Doyoung took out his keys out of his pocket, unlocking her car.

"I'm glad that she feels that way about me. It makes me very happy." Chaewon got into the car on the passenger side.

"Oh yeah... Sorry about her behavior earlier about the relationship thing. It's just that I never really been in one before." Doyoung scratched the back of his neck, starting the engine.

Chaewon was surprised that Doyoung really never had a relationship in his life despite being a decent looking guy.

"It's fine. It shouldn't be something I should judge you for." Chaewon nodded in understanding as Doyoung drove out of the parking garage.

Chaewon's phone rang seeing text messages from Jaehyun that he wasn't going to be home tonight so she didn't have to worry about cooking dinner.

This dude goes out way too much.

Chaewon didn't feel like going home just yet, trying to compose a plan using the time of being in Doyoung's car.

"Doyoung." Chaewon blurred out as she widened her eyes.

"Yes?" Doyoung turned his attention to her after stopping the car at the stoplight.

"Do you happen to be doing anything later tonight?" Chaewon fiddled with her fingers while looking at him.

"I don't have any plans, why?" Doyoung started driving again after the stoplight had turned green again.

"Do you want to walk around the park? I mean it's nice to have the river view and have some peace and quiet you know?" Chaewon stumbled upon her words, as if she was trying to ask a guy out indirectly.

Doyoung thought about Chaewon's question for a second, trying to remember if he had any plans. Luckily, he didn't.

Doyoung was tapping his fingers on the steering wheel, giving it one final thought. "Sure."

Chaewon and Doyoung were walking on the trail, having the Han River view on their side and also the pretty city lights from afar.

They walked in silence with some bikers passing by from time to time.

Chaewon was enjoying the time with the fresh air. She turned to Doyoung who looked like he was wandering mindlessly.

"How are you enjoying the view?" Chaewon asked Doyoung gaining his attention.

Doyoung blinked a couple of times, turning his attention to the girl. "It's interesting. I haven't took a walk like this in so long so it's nice."

Chaewon then stopped at a point, sitting on the bench watching the full river and city view. Doyoung followed her and sat on the bench next to her also.

"I go on walks whenever I need to get things off my mind." Chaewon turned to Doyoung. "It helps me calm down a lot."

Doyoung slowly nodded and listened to her words. He had one question that was yearning in his mind for quite some time. He felt like it was a perfect moment to ask her.

"Chaewon." Doyoung shifted his body so that he was turned towards her. "How come you hated me for so many years? Was there something I ever did wrong to you? I honestly don't understand why we pick up fights so much over small things."

Chaewon honestly didn't know why her enemy relationship happened with Doyoung in the first place. Overall, it was just a stupid reason of her own.

"It was because of competitiveness, you know, trying to be top of the class. And what even made me more angrier was that you also took Finance in university. I didn't want to come off short." Chaewon explained ending with a bitterly chuckle. "I know it's stupid, and I'm sorry."

Doyoung's eyes widened at her reasoning as he felt sympathy with her, knowing how it feels to come off short. He didn't know that she was even trying to compete with him the entire time, forgiving her for her rash actions.

"I'll forgive you for your actions, but the business world is going to continue to be competitive. I see your reasoning." Doyoung acknowledged her words.

"Thanks Doyoung. It means a lot to me to even process this far with you." Chaewon smiled at him.

"Anytime Chaewon." Doyoung flashed his smile at her. "Anytime."

"Why did you get home so late?" Jaehyun asked as Chaewon opened the door to her apartment with Jaehyun who was lazily sitting on the couch watching some TV.

"You went out so I decided to go out too." Chaewon rolled her eyes, placing her backpack on the ground.

"Didn't you go out with Lanying?" Jaehyun asked his sister.

Chaewon walked over to the couch and sat next to him, grabbing a pillow to smack him on the face. "Didn't you forget stupid? You were the one who sent me away from your basketball practice to go with Doyoung."

"Right." Jaehyun smirked. "How was that?"

"He took me to his family's company building. I found out that he models." Chaewon responded with a disgusted expression, tired of her brother's teasing. "Now wipe that smirk off your face. I could slap you right now if you want me to."

"What else did you guys do?" Jaehyun asked another question while wiping the smirk on his face, but internally, he feels that something was up between the two.

"We walked around the park cause you weren't going to be home. Don't worry though, we had ramen from the convenient store." Chaewon quickly spoke to her brother with precision.

"That's good little sis. I'm glad you're getting some bonding time." Jaehyun responded.

"Thanks Jae, I'm going to head to bed now." Chaewon got up from the couch. "Night dimwit."

"Night stupid." Jaehyun watched his sister leave the living room.
