Chaewon waited for Mrs. Shim to deal with a rude customer at the cafe for a couple of minutes. Eventually, Mrs. Shim returned to her spot, taking slow breaths.

"Sorry about that, Chaewon. You can continue on with your story." Mrs. Shim ruffled some dust off her apron.

"Doyoung was actually kinder than I thought. He showed me his hobby, which was modeling and I met his mom. Turns out his mother was a fan of my mother. He came with me to all the basketball games." Chaewon rambled on.

"Jaehyun still plays right?" Mrs. Shim asked to make sure and Chaewon nodded.

"Doyoung was there for me when my ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend harassed me a couple of times, there when I was upset with Jaehyun, there when we went out, and there at my worst when I broke to him about my mother's death. He even willingly came to the grave with me when I asked him to." Chaewon smiled at the memories her and Doyoung had together.

"I can see the flannel you're wearing is his. He must be on your mind all the time now." Mrs. Shim looked at her outfit as Chaewon later realized that she never gave her flannel back to Doyoung, not that she able to give it back to him anyways.

"This whole time, I denied my feelings for him, letting that pass my mind when my mind was still getting revenge on Yeonghwa. Later I stopped thinking about it and focused on spending time with Doyoung for the sake of the contract." Chaewon's tears started to flow.

"When Yeonghwa came up to me the other day, saying he missed me the other day, I was confused at his words because he apparently was trying to make me jealous. It didn't make sense because he was the one breaking up with me. Yeonghwa moved on from me first! And then he just kissed me! I didn't know what to do, but when Yeonghwa kissed me I didn't like it. I was scared and stood frozen as my feelings started to contemplate." Chaewon started wiping her tears with her napkin as Mrs. Shim listened attentively and gave her more.

"I saw Doyoung watching us kiss and I felt like I was going to cry and so I chased him, wanting to tell him it didn't look like it was. Then he broke the fake dating contract. When I tried to stop him, he confessed to me in the most saddest way possible." Chaewon's started crying at this point as Mrs. Shim came by her side, giving her a hug.

"I was stupid enough to fall in love with someone in the worst way possible knowing that they would would never love me back."

"When Doyoung walked away from me, that's when I realize I love him." Chaewon sobbed into Mrs. Shim. "But it's too late now."

"I also blamed my best friend for all of this mess and almost hurt her too." Chaewon continued crying more. "I don't know what to do anymore."

"My best advice is to apologize to them and tell them what you did wrong. And if they're unable to accept it, it's their loss. With Doyoung, it may take a lot of time for forgiveness to proceed completely, but I know I still have hope in you and him. I never met the boy, but according to you and Jaehyun, he seems very well-mannered." Mrs. Shim patted Chaewon for a hug, comforting her in the busy cafe.

"I'll leave after you stop crying or when Jaehyun swings by to pick you up. I can't leave my stepdaughter alone."

Chaewon was thankful for Mrs. Shim, stepping into the school building feeling a bit better. She was walking down the hallway with Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Mark.

She assumed that Taeyong, Johnny, and Yuta were with Doyoung while Winwin was with Lanying.

"I can walk to class on my own. I'll be fine. You guys can go ahead and do your morning shenanigans." Chaewon reassured the three boys who are with her.

"Are you sure noona?" Mark worriedly asked the girl as she nodded.

"Call us if you need anything." Jungwoo then winked. "And a drinking partner."

"Hey!" Jaehyun slapped Jungwoo's arm. "Both of you had way too much this past weekend."

"I'll make sure of it. Don't worry guys." Chaewon waved goodbye, hoping to shoo them.

Chaewon was at her locker, organizing her belongings and closing her lockers, walking alone towards class. She saw Lanying across the hallway with a few female classmates laughing along with them and walking to class together.

She sighed, seeing what she said and did to Lanying made Chaewon get whatever she deserved.

I guess she moved on.

School was honestly horrible for Chaewon as she walked alone, spacing out to the gymnasaium to watch Jaehyun's practice all by her self. She then heard someone slam their arm, against the locker, blocking Chaewon's way.

Choi Heejin.

Chaewon honestly didn't want to deal with her as she attempted to move Heejin's arm out of the way, but she didn't buldge, mentally rolling her eyes.

"How did you do that?" Heejin asked with an octave higher in her house.

"How did I do what?" Chaewon narrowed her eyebrows.

"How did you play with two boys at the same time?" Heejin scoffed. "I can't believe you're such a slut."

Chaewon was slightly confused on what Heejin was asking.

"What are you talking about?" Chaewon looked at her, bitterly.

"You got Yeonghwa to break up with me." Heejin then leaned into Chaewon's ear. "And I know about your dirty little secret with Doyoung. You're really a slut after all."

Chaewon's eyes widen in shock.

How did she know about the contract?

"Oh so I was right about the secret between you and Doyoung." Heejin leaned back on the locker as Chaewon was silent, looking like she was about to ball her eyes out, but she couldnt prevent her tears from doing so. "Yeonghwa told me, that's why."

There's no way he followed me after I chased Doyoung, did he?

FLASHBACK

Yeonghwa watch when Chaewon chased after Doyoung. He then hid behind a corner of the wall hearing their conversation. He didn't want to peek because he didn't want to be caught watching.

"Doyoung, it's not what you think it is-"

"I believe it is what I think it is Chaewon."

"Yeonghwa was trying to get back together with me and I said no and then he suddenly kissed-"

"Chaewon, the issue was that you let him kiss you. It means that you still have feelings for Yeonghwa all this time."

"Doyoung I didn't mean to let him do that to me."

"It doesn't matter to me anyways since we weren't dating for real to begin with, remember? Rip up that contract, we're through."

"Doyoung I-"

"I was stupid enough to fall in love with someone in the worst way possible knowing that they would would never love me back."

Yeonghwa saw that Jaehyun and Lanying making their way to her as he escape from their sight immeidately.

"So Doyoung and Chaewon's relationship was fake to begin with."

END OF FLASHBACK

"Hey you!" A female voice screamed. "Get off of her!"
