Riften flew high into the sky and asked Jake, "Okay. Jake, which one looks like your house?" Jake looked around for a moment and noticed that it was already sunset. Jake looked around a bit more and pointed to his house. Riften swirled in the air and began to fly in the direction of Jake's house. They landed on Jake's bedroom balcony. Riften placed Jake down carefully onto the balcony and landed himself as well. Jake said to Riften, "Wow. It's even better when you're in the open. Thanks Riften." Riften smiled and said, "Eh~. No problem~. So~... I can come over anytime right?" Jake thought for a moment then nodded 'yes'. Riften hugged Jake one last time before he left. Riften shouted, "See ya later~!" Riften then flew back to his abandoned house that wasn't actually that far from Jake's house. Jake waved bye to the happy little vampire as he flew home. Jake turned and opened his window and stepped inside his room. Jake actually had a lot of fun today, didn't he? He met a vampire, flew without a plane, and saved from death itself. Jake thought about his amazing day and then remembered this morning. When he was told that Dirk was dead. Dirk would have wanted him to be happy instead of sad, right? Jake stripped down and noticed he didn't have his gun holster on him anymore. Maybe it got crushed in the accident, or maybe Riften took it because he was scared. Jake didn't blame him for that. Jake slid into his pajamas. He flopped onto his bed and looked out the window. It was really dark now. Jake covered himself with his blanket and fell into a sleepful bliss. That night, all Jake could dream about was his new found friend, Riften. He was great, a really nice guy. Well, sometimes he could be an idiot, but he was still a good guy.
