CHAPTER 45

~TIME SKIP~

Y/n's POV

*Laying on the bed*

It's been a month and half since that incident. I recovered completely from my tail bone injury almost 20 days ago. And now I am able to walk, run and even jump. Thankfully the emergency landing was safe enough that none of us including the cabin crew were hurt in any way.

The pilot found a huge water body perfect for an emergency landing in time and soon when we were on water, the authorities and people of the town rescued us.

After things were settled a bit, Taehyung caught a severe fever while Dohyun and Yeontan were traumatized for almost a week. But in a few days they all recovered pretty well.

We informed Jungkook and Jimin of our situation and then all of the 6 brothers came to a decision to make us stay in hiding in a nearby town. It is called "Dawson city" and it's a beautiful place to live. The people are really helpful and the authorities are very understanding of our situation. Nothing has been revealed to the media about our whereabouts and the plane crash. It's as if it never happened.

I can now understand how powerful Taehyung is. It's an unknown country yet the moment he talked about his identity, the authorities here were more than willing to help us.

We were given a beautiful house with a drawing room, kitchen, dining room, four bed rooms and small lawn and backyard.

It is more than enough for us. Honestly it's better than the mansion we used to live in back in Seoul.

I feel more comfortable in a smaller, cozier home than a palace.

I still remember the last moments when Taehyung went unconscious just a second before the emergency landing took place.

"Y/N!! I.... LOVE YOU.... I REALLY REALLY LOVE YOU Y/N-ah !!"

His eyes were red with tears rolling down his cheeks uncontrollably and his face was pale, lips quivering incessantly. He went unconscious immediately after saying those words. I was shocked. I couldn't process his words or his sudden fainting at that point. And before I could think anymore, we were already on water, wearing our life jackets to get out of the flight through the emergency exits.

I remember calling his name again and again in panic. I was anxious and none of us was ready to leave him behind in an unconscious state. Dohyun started crying looking at his father's unconscious figure while Yeontan kept barking, jumping on him and licking his face trying to wake him up. Thankfully the rescue team reached on time and helped us and Taehyung get out of the air ship and reach the nearest hospital on time. The cabin crew was safe as well.

After that incident, things have changed between us.....

I thought our friendship was growing. I even started to have a small crush on him and remembering his confession, I do feel that he caught feelings for me as well.

But....

He changed. He is no more the softy he used to be with me. Maybe because he just wanted me to become healthier sooner and now when I am back to normal, he doesn't want to continue his act with me. I really don't know....

It's only when Dohyun is around that he seems to notice me or talk to me as usual..... making me feel like I am a part of his family..... like I am his wife. Other than that, he keeps himself busy the whole day without even bothering to look at me for once.

Maybe it was wrong of me to start feeling things for him *Sighs internally*.

But it hurts to see him like that. We sleep in the same bed just like we used to do earlier. Dohyun has started sleeping in a different bedroom, occassionally reminding us of bringing his baby sister sooner into this world.
