Taehyung: Y/n, I accept that at first my only intention to sign this contract was for Dohyun's sake. But things have changed. I... really like you Y/n... it's just that, I... I can't marry you. *Serious* *Eyes tearing up*

Y/n : Why?

Taehyung : I can ask you the same thing. Why? Why can't you marry me?

Y/n : I have a reason. But... I don't think I would be able to explain it to you.

Taehyung : *Taken aback* Coincidentally, I have a reason as well and I too feel I won't be able to make you understand.

Y/n : *Confused* Are you playing with me? Is it some sort of a prank? I am telling you Mr. Kim, I not in the mood of jokes right now!

Taehyung: See... this is why I am saying it's not possible for me to explain it you. You saw yourself how quickly you jumped to a conclusion. Y/n : *Thinks a little* No.

Taehyung : Huh?

Y/n : I can't wait. You have to tell me everything from start till the end. You want me to be open minded and non-judgemental, I am ready to accept whatever you are saying. But promise me you won't lie about anything to me.

Taehyung: Are you sure you can do this? You trust me 100% ?

Taehyung takes a few seconds and then nods in agreement.

He takes her to his bedroom and asks her sit on the bed.

He then opens his cupboard and takes out a small blue box from the locker.

He brings the blue box to Y/n and hands it over to her.

Y/n was confused but she patiently waited for Taehyung to speak.

Taehyung takes a deep breath and starts his side of story.

Taehyung: Y/n... let's go step by step. The first and foremost thing is... I said I can't marry you right? And you know... how do I say this... I know what I am going to say is unbelievable but... please... please keep an open mind.

Y/n grows impatient with how Taehyung was beating about the bush.

Y/n : I already promised you Mr. Kim. Can you please come to the point now?

Taehyung: Y-yes. So... I don't know what is the back story behind all of this. But there's a curse running in our family. It might seem like I am making up things to avoid marrying you. But trust me... this is the reality. You are free to ask any man in this household. There's a curse running in our family... the men in this house if they marry a woman they love, she eventually dies... and everyone close to her dies as well. *Looks down, trying to hide his nervousness*

Y/n : *Surprised* You mean... there is a curse running in your family and that is why, you are not able to marry me? Because me or my family members might die?

Taehyung : Yes. I know it's unbelievable but please trust me.... ple-
