CHAPTER 29

Y/n's POV :

I feel like I am floating in air, like I am in a trance. All of a sudden, I start hearing a voice...... a very faint voice. My head is hammering as a sudden wave of pain hits me. And soon enough, my back starts hurting as well. My body feels extraordinarily heavy yet light enough to keep floating mid air for some reason. I feel like I am in a space between sleep and consciousness. But my eyelids are heavy and I feel paralyzed. Even if I want, I am unable to open my eyes or move. It is all taking up too much energy because I feel I am..... half conscious ? In an alternate space ? And what is this smell ?!

It's uneasy...... whatever it is, I feel exhausted and nauseous.

I frown my eyebrows as my headache continues to grow more and more. 

I hear again ! That voice !

"Mommy, once you wake up, we will go to shopping together with daddy." 

It's a very faint yet a very familiar voice as if it's coming from a distance.

As I try to focus more on that baby-like squeaky voice, I sense a mild waft of some sort of weird smell enter my nostrils. What is it ? It smells like hospital.

My confusion grew even more as I hear again.......

"Mommy, I miss you a lot." 

"Please wake up and play with me."

Mommy ?!

For some reason I gain more strength and finally come out of the trance state. My head slowly clears and I can hear much better and smell much better. The voice is more clear and more closer than earlier. The hospital smell is stronger than earlier.

"Mommy........ Daddy said that we will be celebrating my birthday after you wake up. I want to bake a cake with you. I miss baking with you."

Daddy ?!

I frown more in confusion and finally with all the strength I had, I open my eyes slowly.

As I open my heavy eyelids slowly, my vision is blurry....... I am unable to see clearly.

I hear a yell...... "Uncle !!! Uncle Jungkook !!!! Mommy woke up !!!!!"

I hear sounds of objects jarring, and then I hear some rustling and running. Moments later, someone's hurried footfalls are coming closer to me. 

A few seconds later my vision is finally clear !

I groan as the pain in my head and back is more striking now as I am conscious and awake. I feel dizzy and nauseous as well.

Jungkook : *Worried* Y/n !! How are you feeling ?! Are you okay ?

I see familiar faces. I see Jungkook and....... Dohyun ?! *Confused*

Jungkook : Let me call the doctor first.

I see Jungkook running away.

With confusion in my eyes, I look at Dohyun. This adorable little lamb is so cute !! I gain all my strength to curve my lips upwards and pass a small smile to that cutiepie. He looks so excited with those glittering eyes. Gosh ! Why is he looking so lovingly at me ?! What a cutie !

Dohyun : Mommy !! *Hugs her* I missed you !!! *Pouts cutely and grins from ear to ear*.

Mommy ?! What ?! Am I hearing it right ?! *Surprised and confused*

But wait !! I am now even more confused. Dohyun..... Jungkook...... why are they together ? Where am I ?!

Before I could decipher things on my own, I see some people hurriedly coming inside with the Doctor and Nurse along with Jungkook ! Why are there so many people here !? They are all looking at me with worried expressions ! But why ?! Do I seem like a queen or something to them ?! After a few minutes, except Jungkook and Dohyun, everyone leaves the room when the nurse asks them to wait outside.
