There was silence in that room. An awkward one.
Taehyung took a deep breath and said
"Please Jungkook. I just need to talk to you"
"talk about what?"
"I.... I want to apologize for everything I did"
It made the former king and queen turn their heads towards Taehyung.
"What do you want to apologize for, son?"
asked the queen.
Yes, they both dont know about what was happening with Jungkook. If they would have known about that then their one slap was enough to make Taehyung go on the right track. They are his parents after all.

Jungkook was looking at Taehyung with no emotions.
"No"
"p-please Jungkook please I b-beg you"
This time the king interrupted in a stern way
"What did you do Taehyung? Tell me"
Taehyung started telling everything , how he used to wake him up or how Jungkook used to sleep on the floor or the time he slapped and the time he insulted him. The way Irene manipulated and the way he believed her , the way he was so frustrated that he kissed Irene each and everything. There were many things revealed , even Jimin or Yoongi didn't know about it.
"—so these all things happened a-and I am r-really very sorry. I d-don't know what happened to m-me. I am r-really s-sorry. I am r-ready to take a-any p-punishment just p-please Jungkook , forgive me p-please"
Again the room was silent but suddenly sobbing was heard.
Jimin was crying. Yoongi was blinking his tears.
Just why ? Why his friend ?
"Your Majesty—"
Jungkook started but his breathing was uneven.
He took a deep breath and started.
"Do you think life is a game? huh ? I was suffering for so many days just because of you. I never ever questioned you why you were treating me like a slave because I thought maybe just maybe you will be treating me as your second half. But the times you were bad mouthing about me to Irene or was always insulting me always just broke my heart day by day. Even a small cut on a finger takes a few days to heal but it's about my heart. Do you think a broken heart can be healed by your apology? No right. This takes time but those things which you did were unacceptable. DO YOU THINK THAT THE WAY YOU TREATED ME WAS NICE? HUH? IRENE ALWAYS INSULTED ME IN FRONT OF YOU AND YOU JUST ACCEPTED WHATEVER SHE SAID. YOU JUST TREATED ME LIKE SHIT AND NOW YOU HAVE COME HERE TO TAKE MY FORGIVENESS? oh then you are wrong because don't think that I will forgive you because the pain you gave me was too much for me to handle. J-Just go away"
Jungkook said in one go blinking his tears which were trying to flow.
"J-Jungkook—"
"GO AWAY"
And then Jungkook broke down completely.
