8. Beggar

"Draco,..."I wiped the tears from my face and tried to find where Draco was.

No matter how much I looked for Draco, I couldn't see him, that made my mind even more and more confused plus I had to stand there and stare at my boyfriend kissing a woman other than me.

He was dancing with her happily, dancing with her and smiling at her tenderly, the smile he had for her seemed happier when he was with me, and that woman was no one else, she was his friend who came to the bookstore with him that day.

"I'm sorry, Draco. "I tightened my coat before heading towards my boyfriend kissing another woman on the dance floor.

I walked close to Lowell before pushing the woman away from Lowell, causing her to stagger back slightly.

I pushed her recklessly because right now my heart was filled with frustration and anger.

"Shameless! You're shameless!"I yelled at the woman and pushed Lowell behind me. 

"Do you have a problem, bitch?!"She said angrily and pushed me backward and crashed into Lowell's chest. 

"Why did you kiss my boyfriend?! You're shameless!"I yelled at her as my tear flowed.

 "What the hell are you doing, y/n?!" Lowell grabbed my upper arm and yanked me aside.

 "I hurt, Lowell," I said and tried to get my upper arm out of Lowell's grip but was unsuccessful because he squeezed my upper arm very tightly.

 "What the hell are you doing, y/n?!...You yell at Mia in front of the people in the restaurant...Aren't you embarrassed?"Lowell said through gritted teeth.

Mia...Her name was Mia.

 "I hurt, Lowell...Let me." I begged and tried to get my upper arm out of Lowell's grip again. 

Lowell squeezed my upper arm tighter than before, his nails sinking into my skin until it was a bruise. 

"Aren't you embarrassed to yell at Mia in front of the people in the restaurant?!"Lowell asked, clenching his jaw. 

Lowell doesn't seem to care that he's hurting me. 

"Draco, help me please, hel--" 

Lowell squeezed my upper arm tightly before quickly covering my mouth with his other hand and dragging me towards the door to lead me out of the restaurant with Mia following behind him.

 When Lowell succeeded in dragging me out of the restaurant, he pushed me out to stand on the sidewalk despite the heavy rain outside. 

"Answer me, y/n! Aren't you embarrassed to yell at her like that in front of the people in the restaurant?... Or you have no shame."Lowell shouted.

 Lowell said I had no shame...How dare he say such words to me? 

I stared at him as my tears began to flow more and more as the rain poured down so hard I got wet within seconds.

"That's the two of you! The two of you are not ashamed!" I spat and before approaching them but Lowell pushed me away. 

"You cheat on me! You have no shame, Lowell!" I yelled and walked towards him again before hitting his chest with full force. 

"I've always been honest with you, I love you so much but why are you doing this to me?... You cheat on me just because I have to be engaged to someone else...I know and I understand that it's hard for you to see your girlfriend get engaged to another guy but I've explained everything to you, no matter what, we can get back together as before, I just want you to wait for me...Just wait for me." I cried and smashed his chest several times in anger and regret.
