12. Promise

I walked out of the house in frustration, I didn't understand what was wrong with me, I suddenly got frustrated with Draco, even though he hadn't done anything to me. 

I quickly headed towards the lake before walking on a wooden bridge that stretches out into the middle of the lake.

 "Fuckin idiot," I said to myself before sitting down at the end of the bridge. 

I stared at the sun that was about to touch the horizon, if I had to guess, it would be almost six o'clock now. 

I stared at the quiet lake, birds flew slowly, preparing to return to their nests, the gentle breeze caused the trees to tremble slightly, the faint orange rays of light hitting the water surface, causing the water to sparkle...If I had to describe the beauty of the scenery I was looking at right now, it would have taken me all day to explain. 

As I gazed at the beautiful scenery around me, the sun suddenly shone on my engagement ring on my ring finger until it sparkled.

 I looked down at the ring on my ring finger before my sadness rose again in my heart. 

"Draco..." I muttered as my tears welled up in my eyes. 

When I thought of a picture of Draco and his ex on the dressing table, I was unexplainedly frustrated and saddened. 

"Damn it" I played the ring on my finger as my tears slowly flowed. 

I felt like so idiot but I couldn't stop the flowing tears either.

"What are you doing, my fiance?" Draco's voice asked as he sat down next to me.

 "Why would you want to know?"I asked but refused to look at him. 

"I'm just worried about my fiance, "Draco said and placed his hand on my thigh. 

"You don't need to worry about me, "I said, flicking his hand off my thigh.

 "Heyy...What's wrong with you?" Draco said, grabbing my chin to look at him.

 I stared at him, sobbing a little. 

"Why are you crying?"Draco asked and frowned a little. 

"I didn't cry," I said in a trembling voice and flicked his hand off my chin.

 "If you're not crying, why are your eyes so bloodshot?"Draco asked.

 I shook my head slightly. 

Draco sighed, stroking my hair behind my ear. 

"Are you mad that I still keep pictures of my ex?"Draco asked. 

I shook my head slightly.

 "So tell me, why are you mad at me?"Draco gave me a gentle smile. 

"You suddenly won't let me sleep in the same room as you, and I later found out that you wanted to sleep in that room because it was the room you and your ex used to sleep in, and you still come here just because you miss your ex, not because you want me to rest, "I explained in a shivering voice. 

Draco raised one eyebrow before chuckling.

 I looked at him and frowned slightly...What was he laughing at?

 "The room you entered wasn't the room my ex and I used to sleep in, but it was my ex-girlfriend's dressing room...When she no longer comes to this house, I turned that room into a bedroom, as for the picture of me and her, she put it on the dressing table but I haven't taken it out yet."Draco explained and small smiled. 

I stared at him and bit my lower lip. 

"And the reason I'm here is that I really want you to rest. I didn't come because I miss my ex...How can I miss her when my heart misses you all the time...All four chambers of my heart are only you, which chamber of my heart can I share with my ex?"Draco smiled at me.
