11. The lake house

"Hmm? " I turned to look at him.

"Are you bored?... We've been in the car for five hours now."Draco said while his eyes were still fixed on the road.

"No, not bored at all," I said, turning my head towards the car window.

"Sure? "Draco asked.

"Sure... "I said softly, staring at the trees and mountains passing through my eyes as the car drove.

"But if--"

"Are you tired, Draco?... You drive five hours without rest."I interrupted him before turning to look at him again.

He turned his head to look at me in amazement but said nothing before turning back to look at the road.

"Why don't you answer my question?"I asked.

"No one ever asked me like this, "Draco said softly.

"Now you have me asking you already," I said before Draco turned his head to look at me.

I smiled at him before he turned back to look at the road.

"I'm a little tired but seeing you smile makes me feel better, "Draco said and smiled to himself.

I chuckled before stretching out my laziness and sighing softly.

I was going to Draco's lake house at his invitation...I thought going to the lake house would be fun and it would be nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and forget all the bad things that just happened by fleeing to a quiet lake house with Draco.

"Draco"

"Hmm? "

"May I open the car window?"I asked.

"Yes, whatever you'd like, "Draco said.

"Thanks, "I said before slowly pressing the switch on the door handle to open the car window.

As the car window rolled down to the end, a cool breeze hit my face, the smell of the forest and the rain absorbed into the car, trees, mountains, and rivers passed my sight quickly at the speed of the car, the nature in the countryside is so beautiful that it makes me forget the hustle and bustle of the city easily.

I put my arm on the sill of the car window before placing my chin on my arm and closing my eyes.

The wind blew into my face with a rather strong force because of the speed of the car, my hair blew back and forth and snuggled with my face as I let all the turbulent thoughts out of my head.

The soft music from the car radio played as I let myself relax in nature, it was a very good feeling, it felt good like I had never felt before, it was both calm and comfortable.

"Would you take happiness alone without inviting me?" Draco asked softly as I let my mind relax in nature.

I slowly opened my eyes and turned my head to look at him.

"Happy alone and don't invite me...You're so mean." Draco said and smiled playfully.

I chuckled and rolled my eyes at him before grabbing his hand that was not on the steering wheel.

"What are you going to do?"Draco asked, glancing at me a little.

I didn't answer him, I just tangled my fingers with his fingers.

"What are--"

"I'll bring you happiness with me."I smiled at him before placing our clasped hands on my lap and leaning my head against the window of the car to continue watching nature.
