13. Swim

"Come on, y/n, the water in the lake is cold, get out of the water now...You'll be sick."Draco said and sighed hard.

"No" I stick my tongue at him before diving again.

The water in the lake was clear and cool. I swam a bit further away from the bridge where Draco was sitting before emerging above the water and looking around.

It was already six o'clock in the evening, the sky was darker than before, the sun was only a faint light, but it made the atmosphere and the nature around me more beautiful than before.

"y/n, darling! "Draco called out to me.

I turned to look at him.

"What's wrong? "I shouted.

"Don't swim too far from me, I can't see you, "Draco replied.

"Are you worried about me?"I asked.

"Yes, "Draco shouted.

I chuckled before swimming a little further.

"y/n! I'm serious, if you swim any further I won't be able to see you."Draco shouted and stood up.

"If you're worried about me, you can swim with me, "I shouted and giggled.
"No! I won't go into the lake anyway."Draco shouted.

I giggled.

"Stop being stubborn and swim back to me now, "Draco shouted.

I rolled my eyes and sighed before swimming back to him.

"You're worried about me too much, you know?"I said after emerging from the water.

"Yes, I'm overprotective...But under the lake, there maybe sharks."Draco said and slowly sat down.

I burst out laughing before swimming closer to the end of the bridge.

"The lake has no sharks, don't you fool me, "I smiled at him before using my hands to cling to the edge of the bridge and staring at him.

 "Even if there are no sharks, there may be a mermaid or an octopus in the lake, "Draco said, shrugging. 

"I'm not a three-year-old, Draco, you can't trick me into quitting swimming this way," I said before rolling my eyes at him. 

Draco scoffed. 

"And I'm not afraid of mermaids or octopuses."I smiled. 

Draco narrowed his eyes before reaching out to squeeze my nose hard. 
I giggled before reaching out to grab his ankle.

 "What are you going to do, darling?"Draco asked, staring at me with tender eyes.

 "Come swim with me, please."I looked at him with pleading eyes.

 "I'm not easily fooled by your innocent eyes."Draco shook his head and smiled at me. 

"So can't you just dip your legs in the water?"I asked and bit my lower lip slightly. 

Draco stared for a moment before sighing hard.

 "I've always lost to your big, innocent eyes, "Draco said before moving to stretch his legs forward. 

I grinned and chuckled as Draco rolled his eyes at me. 

"Do you want me to take off my shoes for you?"I asked. 

"That's so sweet of you but--" 

"You don't have to be considerate of me, I have to take the shoes off for Lowell often, "I said. 

"Does he always force you to take off his shoes for him?"Draco asked. 

I didn't say anything, I just nodded before slowly placing my hand on his ankle.
