3 years back, few hours later after Rahul's attempted suicide. Dapoli beach Ratnagiri
(Conversation between two local fishermen)
"Bhaisahab, its been so long , our business is not doing well. It seems like either all the fishes have fled from this sea or died in here."
"Areey..even my wife has started taunting me now. She says I'm not worth her life. I'm not feeding her well so she's going to marry someone else."
"My condition is amost same too. God knows what will happen to us now. If this goes like this..I'll just jump in this sea and end my life peacefully. There's no good in living like this"
"Have patience br....."
"Areey areey ..it seems like a large fish has been caught in my rod. Help me bring it out."
They put all their strength and.....saw a body coming upwards.
They went to the shore and brought the body to the ground. Some other people gathered around there.
"Looks like he's dead!"
"No no he's just unconscious."
" But who is he?'
"He's still breathing" said one of them.
"Let's bring him to my home. I am a vaidya (doctor)".
They all agreed and helped that unconscious person to be carried to the doctor's home.
Few days later:
"Hello, are you conscious now?" the doctor asked.
"Yes" he replied.
"Are you comfortable to speak now?"
"I t..think so"
"Do you remember your name?"
"..no...."
"Ok tell me how're you feeling ?"
"I...I'm good "
"Do you remember where are you from and how you ended up in the sea?"
"....No"
"It's okay. Don't force your brain for now. Rest up! And congratulations for waking up" the doctor ended the conversation with a smile.
Meanwhile he got lost in his thoughts. He tried hard remembering who he was. How was he founded in the sea. Where did he live. What was his life like.
Despite the doctor's advice, he forced his brain and ended up struggling with a great headache.
The doctor somehow calmed him down and gave some medicines.
Still, half-asleep, he was yet again lost in his thoughts. He repeated the same question in his mind again and again.
Who am I?
Moments later he remembered..he remembered his name.
"My name is Rahul" he told the doctor.
