(23) We should see a therapist

Sehgal uncle:

"Vivek are you in Mumbai?"

"Yes uncle I came back yesterday"

"Oh. How's Diya? There's not anything serious right?"

"Absolutely not. She's perfectly fine. But uncle you don't sound good. Is anything up? Did the deal we talked about didn't settle?"

"No no Vivek. It went well. Infact the recording date has been set up for 2 days later"

"Oh that's nice. So what's up with you? Is it about Aarohi?"

"Yes. But I can't tell you anything on the phone. Let's meet and discuss everything. "

"Ok sure uncle. I'll come right now"

I was worried sick about Aarohi. The things she told me yesterday was so unbelievable. Almost similar to a movie's storyline. My child is not fine. I can't see her like this. I'd have to meet a doctor soon.

There was a knock on the door pulling me out of my thoughts. "Come in" I informed.

"Uncle what is wrong? Is she ok? Is she hurt anywhere?" Vivek rushed in with a restless expression on his face. I gave him a glass of water and asked him to calm down.

I cleared my throat and told him everything, "I can't say she's ok. And it is serious this time. I mean not physically but...mentally!"

Vivek looked at me confused.

"What are you trying to say? What the hell happened?" He almost yelled at hearing the news.

"Vivek let me explain everything. I met her yesterday. I went her home to see her and tell about Diya but as soon as she opened the door..I can say I was scared. Her eyes were red as if she've been crying for hours. Her hairs were all messy. Her eyes looked tired as if she didn't sleep for days. When I asked her what happened she told me something which no sane person would believe."

"What did she say?" Vivek's voice was full of concern. But I knew what I was going to tell him would put him in shock too.

"She told me she's seen Rahul!"

Vivek looked confused and rolled his eyes before speaking, "I know. And its been so many
days. She was talking about my engagement day right?

"No. She saw him yesterday. Vivek she lied to us about wandering aeound the city just for some freshness. She was searching for Rahul all along these days." I looked at Vivek and he looked utterly shocked. I continued, "She hasn't kept calm since the day she first saw him obviously as she said she saw him. Remember those viral photos about her wandering in disguised look? She put those on so that no one would recognise her and she could find Rahul. She spent days doing this nonsense thing and says that yesterday she saw him. Again. Not just this, she also said that he ran away from her!" By now I guessed I sounded irritated because Aarohi's words didn't make any sense to me. And I knew Vivek thought the same .

"So what are you going to do now?" He finally spoke after awaiting me for minutes. "Actually I was thinking we should see a therapist for her. " vivek looked at me with widened eyes. "I really think she needs to see one because she's not mentally fine. I think our love and care fell short for her."

"But she maybe right. Maybe she really saw him?  Maybe he's really alive. And just hiding away from the world. But destiny made  her find him? I think we should trust her and look for Rahul with her?" I was actually surprised Vivek reached that conclusion. I don't know what was happening but I really needed to sort everything out and save these two from their imagination.

"no vivek. She can't be right. You know the media right? There's no way someone's body who had attempted suicide was found  alive and they didn't got a gist of it. Its impossible he can hide from all those cameras luring around the whole city looking for gossips. If Rahul was alive, it would've been a big controversy by now. Aarohi is not in her right senses now. She's imagining things. She's still stuck in the past with Rahul. We all thought she moved on but No. She misses him so much that she has started hallucinating now. She sees someone who's dead. Someone whom no one else has seen since three years. My poor girl is troubled. She's fighting alone and I really need to help her. Please don't talk like her and support me to help her. I did my best to explain him everything and bring his sanity back.

Vivek kept standing quietly. That silence was uncomfortable. I didn't know if I was doing the right thing or not but I only wanted the best for Aarohi.

"But we won't admit her without her consent" vivek finally spoke breaking the unbearable silence.

"Ofcourse vivek. I'm not going to harm her in anyway....I...I'm just.."my eyes were wet  by now  thinking about Aarohi's situation. Vivek came and held my hands warmly "I know uncle..and I'm not assuming anything negatively. I know you just want to help her and I too want the best for her"

"Yes and we will surely get our old, cheerful and determined Aarohi back" I spoke with a fainted smile and hugged Vivek as our conversation ended.
