P/N: Hello, my dear readers! Today, I decided to do a little Modern AU thingy. This idea just...sort of came to me when I was doodling in class. (Sincere apologies to all the teachers out there🥺) As you can probably see from the title, this story takes place in a high school called Arda High, and the students/teachers are...I think you will know who they would be...😉 Anyway, have fun, and please like/comment please!

Cast: Aragorn, Legolas, Arwen, Elladan, Elrohir, Arellin, Elrond, Thranduil, Galion, Glorfindel (gasp gasp) all in disguise! 😎🕵️‍♀️ Can you identify them all? (Answers are at the bottom! Tip: searching the meanings might help!)

Genre: Humor, Teenager, Drama, Romance (just bitsy cute ones)

Warnings: Graphic descriptions of last minute homework...May cause excessive laughter if the author's writing skills are good enough. (hopefully😥)

Notifications: Please don't copy this idea, this took a lot of effort and time... And if you have anything to tell me, don't hesitate to click that comment button! Your feedback means a lot to this lonely Tolkienite...

>>>>> Arden's morning

Arden woke up as the alarm went off, making his phone vibrate wildly from under his pillow.

"Hurmphachnrr..." He muttered incomprehensibly into his pillow, which always seemed impossibly softer at this time of the morning. He reluctantly rolled onto his back as his phone buzzed again in a desperate spasm to wake him up.

'Gotta get a new phone...' Arden thought, the buzz sounded like his phone was in a fit.

Arden sighed then sat up, stretching the sleep off his stiff limbs. He turned the alarm off to save his phone from another death throe and plugged the charger in.

'Poor thing. It is old, after all...' His father had bought it for him as a graduation gift. Graduation from Elementary school, to be precise. But now he was a High school Sophomore, so naturally, the phone was almost at the end of its eventful life. But Arden was reluctant to throw the phone away, however old it was.

'It's the last thing dad ever gave me... It feels kinda weird to think about throwing it away.'

Arden's father was a policeman, and he was killed trying to protect Arden from a motorbike driven by a drunk man. After his father's death, it was just Arden and his mother. She worked hard to raise Arden on her own, and as a matter of fact, she was currently on a business trip, which may well be the hundredth this year. She was overworking, to Arden's opinion. But it used to be far worse when he was little, and it was a hard phase for both of them.

'We were lucky though...We had a good neighbor.' Arden reflected. True enough, Edward Pered, a doctor who lived next block, had helped them a lot. Such as letting little Arden play at his home with his twin sons, Edgar and Eric(who were now inseparable with Arden), while Arden's mom was at work. So naturally, Arden was very close the Pered children, including the Pered's adopted daughter Aurora Tähtinen, who happened to be crashing at Arden's house right now because of a huge fight with her adoptive father.

Arden gave his phone a fond pat on the screen.

"Be a good boy while I get ready for school."

He couldn't believe that he had sunk to the level of talking to his phone.

'Luke wouldn't drop this subject for a week when he hears this...' Arden thought of his friend, who could be incredibly annoying when he wanted to harass people.
