"Fuck" I whispered.

I was getting the last of my things packed.

It was 11:45pm

I turned 16 in 15ish minutes.

"Oh my god" I said aloud.

All of a sudden my phone rang.

"Who the fuck.." I whispered as i ran towards it.

"Hello?" I said

"Hi, Can you put Lila on the line"

I recognized the voice anywhere.

"Hey Chris" I said.

"Wanna meet up?" He asked.

"Ya sure, where?"

"I'll come to you place, be ready in 5" He said than hung up the phone.

I smiled.

Things finally felt back to normal.

I went outside in shorts and a tee shirt with flip flops.

It was chilly for the end of August.

Must be that Oregon fall starting.

I looked up at the house i spent my summer in.

Brown chipped paint.

A old black door that was broke because one of moms boy toys ran through it.

And a fence surrounding the house.

My bedroom window was on the side of the house but i could see the lights still on.

It's weird. I hates this place so much. But now i might even miss it.

"Hey stranger" Chris said.

I ran down to him and started walking.

"9 minutes till your 16" He said playing punching me.

"I know it's weird" I said with a smile.

We walked through the small town like we always do.

There wasn't anything to do.

"I'm glad you don't hate me anymore" He said breaking the silence.

"Ya me to" I replied.

He brushed his hand against mine as we were walking.

"What you trying to do Chambers?" I asked.

"Hm" He asked.

"3 minutes... Wanna do something fun?" I asked.

"Like what" He said.

I dragged him to a alley.

"We have a a few minutes i said"

He looked at me confused as i pulled him into a kiss.

"About tomorrow" I began.

"I know.." He said. "I remember i just don't want it to happen so can we please not bring it up"

I nodded and continued to walk.

"Tomorrow at 7 us guys will be over at your house to help load your car"

"Anytime" He said with one of his famous smiles.

"I gotta get home" I said.

"Ya i know"

He walked me home, when i got to my door he kissed my cheek and than went away.

I went in the house.

Everything seemed quiet.

Still.

At peace.

I went to the fridge and got one of moms vodkas and chugged it.

I smiled and went to my room.

Put on a album and feel asleep.
