🪐 Quiet Whispers

Slowly the day passed by as you kept a eye on the various children. Children ran up and down playing different games and seeming to be blissfully unaware. You where sitting at your desk staring down at the papers in front of you. You couldn't help but loose yourself in your thoughts his voice still quite loud in your mind. 'You want to hurt them. You know you do y/n. You want to cause them pain but your scared of your guilt it consumes you' you wanted the voice to stop you didn't want it. Your stomach twisted and turned deep down. Your mind felt so foggy and clouded. You couldn't think and soon couldn't do anything at all. Your body stood up without your input you couldn't control your movements. Fear pulsed deep inside as you walked around your hands tucked behind your back.

Sunshine looked at you confused. You wanted to yell, say anything tell him to stop you. Your voice slipped out it was calm, collected and soft. It didn't sound like you "Don't worry Sunshine, I'm alright". This only seemed to worry him more. You felt your body moving towards a flight of stairs to leave the daycare. You wanted to stop you didn't want to leave. You slowly made your way out of the daycare sun watching your every movement. You walked around looking around at everything as your body carried you. "Just follow me y/n" you looked in front of you and everything else faded to black. There he was. A taller man who looked to be in his early 40's a very tidy purple security guard suit made him stand out. His hair was a dark brown with a grey strip that bled into it. You followed him it didn't seem like you had much of a choice a your body moved without your will.

"Just let go of your fears, I won't hurt you darling. They will. Look what they've done to you now?" You kept walking after him, he always seemed a few steps ahead of you his voice was in your head all around you. It was dark. As he lead you along you couldn't tell where you were. It felt dark, cramped. You swallowed harshly as you kept walking. You still couldn't stop yourself or say a word otherwise. He stopped and turned around to face you. His purple eyes burning into yours as he walked up to you lifting your head. "You are so broken, I will put you back together, What should we call you?" You couldn't figure out what he was talking about. As you stepped back you felt yourself regaining control but it was worse now as you looked at yourself as he held her chin up laughing. "Something simple, how about Bunny?" You watch yourself nod, you shook your head quickly wanting this to stop. What was he doing to you. "Now bunny, be a obedient girl. Let's take care of dear y/n shall we?" As he spoke his eyes met yours again as the other version of you turned around holding a knife. A wide smile on their face. You didn't recognize her. You quickly turned and ran as fast as you could. Your body felt light and weak you couldn't think or feel as the world came back around you. You were still inside the Pizzaplex now running around as if you were being chased. People stopped and stared at you as you ran sobbing.

You wanted it to go away you wanted this hell to stop. Why was this happening?! "Run rabbit, run rabbit run run RUN" his voice echoed in your mind as you ran desperately to the bathrooms pulling yourself inside and locking the door hugging yourself in one of the stalls trying to calm your breathing as you looked around. Everything was there. This was real. You are real you repeated in your mind as you slowly calmed down. Your quiet sobs was all that could be heard in the empty bathroom.

The silence was suffocating you but you couldn't just run into the daycare like a lunatic. You slowly moved from the stall making your way to the sinks. Slowly turning the water on and splashing your face. You needed to calm down and think you needed to be rational. Slowly you dried your face with a paper towel before looking at yourself in the mirror you looked like a wreck. Maybe tonight wasn't a good night to stay in the mall again. Which meant you'd have to go home. You swallowed that fear as you looked at yourself lifting a hand to your face "Don't we look beautiful?"  You heard her voice whisper in your mind. Whatever she was she wasn't you. She may look like you but that wasn't you. "So fragile" you wished she'd shut up in your head and shook your head covering your ears a moment. Slowly looking back up at yourself seeing Vanny behind you. She giggled softly setting a hand on your shoulder "Welcome to the family y/n" She cooed as you felt the tears well up again. You didn't want to be part of this sick game anymore.

"VANESSA STOP IT!" you shouted feeling all your emotions bubble up at once. Woman froze she looked in shock and looked lost. Her body went still as she was quiet trying her best to process what had happened. She slowly looked at you in worry "Y/N? Are you alright?" You were baffled how did she act like she didn't even know what was going on. Flipping around you looked at her. Her expression was genuine. Not one taunting you or even finding it mildly amusing. "Vanessa...how long have you been in here?" She seemed a bit confused and scratched the back of her neck. "Not sure how I got in here to be honest. I guess I went on autopilot for a bit it happens..you look like a wreck y/n" you nodded starting to calm down. This was the Vanessa you knew. A little awkward, friendly, caring. You hugged her tightly scared she would go back to the scary woman you had just met. "Woah woah y/n! Seriously you don't look good, I haven't seen you leave in a few days this place is getting to you isn't it?" You nod quickly and let out a soft sigh "I haven't wanted to go home but I don't have the money to move out yet" you choked out trying not to seem desperate. "Hey you could come back to my place it's a apartment a few blocks from here if you need a place to stay y/n you can get a shower, get a actual meal and maybe we could talk?"

You smiled and looked up at her. She was a good freind and even nicer co-worker. "That sounds nice ness" she laughed at the nickname lightly pushing you away "I haven't heard that nickname in a while, god"

"Vanny, Bunny. My perfect little workers. You'll complete my plan one way or another"
