I walk around the church, waiting for Chilled to exit his room, but since he's (what we've agreed on) the bride. I cut him some slack because he is a perfectionist at these kinds of events. I decide to talk to and greet the guests.

Oh,

Well imagine,

As I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor,

And I can't help but to hear,

No, I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words:

"What a beautiful wedding! What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter,

"And, yes, but what a shame, what a shame the poor groom's bride is a whore."

I barge into the room and see Jess, Chilled's ex, standing there talking shit about MY fiancé.

"Jess. If you're going to be an ass, then you can get your skinny white one out of here." I growl in warning, causing her to look at me.

"But Adam.. didn't you know? You should go check on him... I'm sure you'll get quite a surprise.."

I'd chime in with a

"Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"

No, it's much better to face these kinds of things

With a sense of poise and rationality.

I'd chime in,

"Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"

No, it's much better to face these kinds of things

With a sense of...

I glare at Jess, then turn and head to Chilled's dressing room to hear whispering beyond the door. I slowly turn the doorknob and open the door. I gasp as I see Ze and Chilled in an embrace, kissing. I feel tears fall from my face and my heart break. I slam the door and rush to the front door of the church.

Well in fact,

Well I'll look at it this way,

I mean technically our marriage is saved

Well this calls for a toast

So, pour the champagne

Oh! Well in fact,

Well I'll look at it this way,

I mean technically our marriage is saved

Well this calls for a toast,

So, pour the champagne, pour the champagne

I run out of the church and start walking down the sidewalk as I cry. I hear someone run up behind me.

"Adam!" I hear Chilled's voice.

I keep walking, feeling the tears fall faster.

"Adam let me expl-" I don't need to hear this...

"EXPLAIN?!" I turn, pissed beyond belief. "Explain that you and Ze were... together!? Kissing! At our fucking wedding?!"

Chilled stays quiet and looks down, tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry..." He whispers

I'd chime in with a

"Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"

No, it's much better to face these kinds of things

With a sense of poise and rationality.

I'd chime in,

"Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"

No, it's much better to face these kinds of things

With a sense of poise and rationality again.

"I'm sorry too. Sorry I fell for all the bullshit 'I love you's',

sorry for all the years I wasted thinking you wouldn't betray me.. I'm sorry for poor Ze, because you are most likely going to do the same thing you just did to me, to him. I'm sorry I ever thought we had a chance, when we had no chance as long as he's been on your mind." I say, speaking my mind, then turning and walking away.

I'd chime in,

"Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"

No, it's much better to face these kinds of things

With a sense of poise and rationality.

I'd chime in,

"Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"

No, it's much better to face these kinds of things

With a sense of poise and rationality again.
