"Alright lets hurry up and get out of here before that elf guard comes back." Thorin hissed. The comany all quickly and quietly got up. "Will you be alright to do this Artrain?" Thorin asked me quietly. "I don't care rather I am or not! I'm not staying in this God forsaken place any longer than I have to!" I exclaimed. "Amen to that lass!" Dwalin chuckled. Thorin sighed an shook his head. "Alright lets go!" Thorin barked. The company managed to get out of Rivendell unnoticed. "Some guards they are." I snickered, earning a few laughs from the dwarves. "Yes well we're not in the clear just yet. We've still got to make it up into the moutains and find shelter. Lets move!" Thorin called. As the company started trudging up the moutain I turned and noticed Bilbo was looking longingly at Rivendell. "Come Bilbo, you do not want to upset Thorin." I said softly to the hobbit. "What? Oh yes.. lets not fall behind.." Bilbo muttered as we caught up with the dwarves.

Rain poured down from the sky, much to my discomfort. "Rain.. why must it always be rainning?" I grumbled bitterly. "Oh what? You dont like a little bit of water?" Thorin asked teasingly. "No as a matter of fact I dont. Its wet, and cold, and quite uncomfortable if I do say so myself." I replied. Thorin simply chuckled and shook his head. "You sound almost as bitter as me." He smirked. "Well maybe you're just rubbing off on me master dwarf." I said. Suddenly the ground began to shake terribly. "Hold on!" Thorin yelled as the company pressed themselves to the walls of stone. I looked down and noticed the ground under Bilbo began to give way. "Bilbo!" I yelled as i grabbed him just as the rock fell. "We need to find shelter!" Thorin called out. "Watch out!!" Dwalin yelled. The company looked up to see a rock hurtling at us. we all quickly pressed ourselfs back up against the moutain as smaller rocks fell around us. "This is no thunderstorm! Its a thunder battle! look!" Balin yelled. I was confused for a moment until I looked up and saw Two stone giants. "Oh Mahal.. Great! This is just wonderful!" I mumbled. Suddenly the ground began to shake and I noticed the ground began to crack and the company was being separated. "Kili! Grab my hand! Kili!" Fili yelled, reaching for his younger brother. But they were just barely out of reach. "Hold on Lads! Were going for a little ride!" I yelled as I backed up against the rock. The company was swung around left and right by the Stone giant we just so happened to be on. Before we knew it we we falling toward a wall of stone. On pure instinct I found Kili and shielded him the best I could with my body. I wasnt about to let him get hurt. We slamed into the wall and I groaned as my back hit the hard rock. "No! Kili! Artrain!" I heard Thorin and Fili yell. "Its alright! We're alive!" Balin called back. "Ugh speak for yourself Balin." I groaned as i lied on the ground, earning a few chuckles from the dwarves around me. But Kili just stared at me, shocked. 'Heh don't be so suprised lad! you said so yourself we take care of our own." I said as i stood and ruffled his hair. "Hey!" He pouted and glared playfully at me. Soon the rest of the company arrived and Fili ran and hugged his little brother. "Gosh Kee don't scare me like that!" Fili sighed. "Heh im alright Fee. Although im not sure how id be without Artrain over there." Kili said, smiling at me. Fili flashed me a thankful smile. "Artrain are you alright?" Thorin asked me, he looked truly concerened. "Heh other than running into a solid stone wall, yeah im fine." I smirked, earning a chuckle from Thorin.
