I stood by Thorin as we waited for Bilbo to return. He had gone ahead to see where the orcs were. I shifted uncomfortably, knowing we were in dangerous territory. "Artrain are you alright??" Thorin asked quietly as he looked down at me. I nodded slightly "Yes Thorin I'm fine. These lands make me nervous that's all." I replied giving him a small smile. Thorin opened his mouth to say something else but he was cut off when Bilbo returned. "We have a bit of a problem.." The Halfling squeaked only to be interrupted by Gandalf. "Were you spotted??" the wizard asked. "No but..." He was once again interrupted by the wizard. "See! What did I tell you?" Quiet as a mouse!" Gandalf said earning amused chuckles from the company. " OI! listen to the poor lad!" I snapped. The company quickly fell silent. "Thank you Artrain. Now as I was saying, There's something else out there.. And it's nothing like anything we've ever seen before." Bilbo explained. "Was it like a bear??" I asked with a sigh of dread. "Wh... Well yes... It was but much larger." Bilbo said with a confused look on his face "How did you.." I cut him off. "His name is Beorn. He is a skin changer like I am but he Is not as pleasant." I explained. "You knew about this? Is he friend or Foe?" Thorin asked. "Yes of course I knew of him. And he is neither he will either help us or kill us. And judging by how fast the orcs are moving right now we don't have much of a choice." I said. "I agree with her. This is a risk we have to take." Gandalf said. "Alright you heard them.. Lets move." Thorin grumbled.

"COME ON MOVE IT!" I yelled. Beorns mighty roar sounded and sent shivers through my body. The whole company was running for their dear lives as the huge bear chased after them" Hurry get the door open!" Thorin and I both yelled at the same time as we reached the house. The company struggled to get the dorr open but they didn't seem to notice the latch on it that was just above them. I groaned and reached up, quickly opening the latch and we all flooded in only to be closely followed by Beorn who was trying to fight his way in. The dwarves frantically pushed the Huge bear out and locked the door. I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding and slid down against the wall. "I think he's leaving!" Ori squeaked as he peered through a crack in the door. "Get away from there! It's not normal! none of it is! He must be under some dark spell." Dori said as he pulled the younger dwarf away from the door. "Don't be foolish! He is under no enchantment but his own! Now all of you get rest. We will be safe here for the night." Gandalf said. And I couldn't help but hear him mumble something that sounded like "I hope"..
