"Well should we tell Thorin?" I sighed. "Uhhh no.. Let's not worry him." Fili said, obviously not wanting to get the wrath of Thorin for loosing the ponies. "Well what do you suppose we do?" I asked, understanding the young dwarves fear. "Well your half wolf right? We were hoping maybe you could sniff them out for us?" Kili asked with pleading eyes. I opened my mouth to respond but I interrupted by loud footsteps hitting the ground, making the earth shake. "Get down Lads!" I hissed, pulling the two dwarves down behind a log. A few seconds later a Troll went passed us carrying two more of our ponies. "Trolls.." Kili breathed out. "Oh well that's just fantastic..." I grumbled "alright, you boys stay here. I'm getting those ponies back." I started to stand only to be pulled back down by Fili an Kili. "Are you crazy?! There's no way we're letting you go there!" Fili said with his brother nodding in agreement. "Don't worry lads, I can handle myself." I chuckled while standing up again. "Look if I get into trouble don't you dare show yourselves understand??" I said, looking at them both. They both reluctantly nodded. I smiled and snuck off. "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrow." I heard to one of the trolls complain. "Oh Quit yer' griping. These ain't sheep. These is West Nags!"
Another said to him. I rolled my eyes and zoned out the conversation once the other troll began talking about a unfortunate farmer they seemed to get their hands on and I began to make my way over to the ponies. One of the trolls sneezed into the pot of whatever they were cooking. "Oh that's lovely! It's a floater! It may improve the flavor!" One of the others said, causing me to gag. "Bloody disgusting trolls.." I murmured to myself as I began to untie the ropes. The horses began to get a bit noisy when they saw me. "Shhh.!" I hissed. But I noticed it got way to quiet. 'Oh joy...' I thought to myself as I slowly looked up. Sure enough, all the trolls were staring at me. I silently cursed at myself for being so careless. "Ohhh what's this pretty little thing??" One of the trolls asked as it snatched me up. "Put me down you filthy Oaf!" I snarled, squirming in his grip. "Oaf?!" The troll asked, obviously offended. "Oh I'm sorry, did I hurt your feelings??" I mocked. "You better shut your trap!" One of the other trolls growled. "Oh make me!" I snapped. I could practically feel their glares burning into my skin. "Oy! This girls got a big mouth for the situation she's in." The troll growled to his companions. "I say we teach her a lesson! Maybe we should brake a few bones. Then she would keep her smart comments to herself!" Another said, he grabbed my arm, getting ready to snap the bone in half. I closed my eyes tightly, bracing myself for the pain. Instead, I felt the troll let my arm go and heard him howl in pain. "Drop her!" A familiar voice yelled, causing my eyes to snap open. It was Kili. "You what?" The troll that was holding me asked. "I said drop her!" With a mocking grin, his eyes Gleamed. "If you insist." The troll chuckled. I let out a yelp as he threw me at Kili. "Artrain!" The dwarf exclaimed, trying catching me but instead we both just fell over. Suddenly the entire company ran out with their weapons in hand. "Oh thank Mahal." I mumbled as I helped Kili up. I smiled at him before rushing into battle with the rest of the dwarves.
