Chapter 7: Orcs..

I sighed and looked around the forest, not really paying atention to the wizards conversation. Suddenly the sound of paws beating the ground caught my attention. I noticed a warg charging toward the company. I barked trying to warn them. But the foul creature had already takled Thorin down to the ground. I growled and Rammed into the Warg Head on. It let out a howl of pain and anger as i dug my teeth into its neck. I forced my self not to gag as the bitter tase of its blood filled my senses. i let go as soon as i felt it stop struggling underneath me. Before i knew what wass happening I was brought down to the ground by another warg that had snuck up behind the company. I yelped and frantically tried to get it off of me. Suddenly i felt it go limp and fall off of me. I looked up to see Thorin with his sword gripped tightly in one hand. "Are you alright?" He asked. I nodded and pulled myself to my paws. "Who did you tell about this journey other than your kin?!" Gandalf yelled. I was taken aback by his sudden outburst. "No one!" Thorin responded. "Who did you tell?!" Gandalf yelled again. "No one I swear! Now what's going on?!" Thorin asked. "Were being hunted." I explained as it quickly shifted back to my human form. "Theres a pack of riders about a mile north and they're coming fast. I suggest you start moving." I added. Bilbo looked at me with fear obvious in his eyes. "Ill draw them off." Radagast offered. "No they'll out run you." Gandalf said. "These are Rhosgobel rabbits. I'd like to see them try!" Radagast chuckled. "Here I'll go with you." I said. "Certainly not Artrain." Gandalf said. "With all due respect Gandalf, try and stop me." I grinned. Gandalf sighed and shook his head.

"Haha come and get me!" Radagast taunted the wargs as I ran by his side with ease. 'Oi! Don't get cocky Radagast!' I thought to myself. Of course he couldn't read my mind so he went on with his smart comments. Suddenly I noticed a warg and it's rider Going to close to the company for my comfort. I barked and flicked my head toward them. Radagast looked over. "Go." He said simply. I nodded and made a sharp turn. I ran at the warg. But it had already scented the company and it was just above them. I growled and pushed it down into the ground. Causing the warg and the rider to yelp in surprise. "Kill them quickly!" Thorin said to Kili. He nodded and shot both the warg and the Orc. But it was already to late, the pack heard. "Run you fools!" Gandalf yelled. We all quickly bolted off. I growled when I heard the wargs chasing after us. "This isnt going to work! Alright lads I hope you're all ready to fight!' I said. I stopped and grabbed my sword, gripping it in my hand. "Oi! Wheres Mr.Gandalf?!" One of the dwarves asked. "Hes abandoned us!" Dwalin exlaimced bitterly. 'Foolish dwarf.' I thought to myself. "Over here! Hurry!" Gandalf yelled soon after the warriors acusation. The company all looked at the wizard in shock, but the quickly did as they were told. Well most of us did anyways. Kili and I still stayed fighting. I was hacking at every orc that dared to com in my reach. "Kili! Artrain!" Thorin barked, waiting for us to come back. I turned my head to him. Which was a stupid mistake on my part. Before I knew it there was a dagger in my stoumach. I gasped in pain and glared at the orc who stabbed me. i quickly beheaded it and fell to my knees. "Artrain!" most of the company yelled my name, but you could hear Thorin the most. He quickly rushed to my side. "Kili hold them off while I get her to the cave!" Thorin called to his nephew. Kili nodded and kept shooting the wargs. I felt Thorin lift me up as carefuly as he could. He quickly carried me to the rest of the company with Kili Soon following. 'Well this is just my luck." I thought to myself.
