Skylar POV
"I'm ready"
My grandfather closes his book and looks at me then opens his book right back up and starts to read again.
"Grandfather I said I'm ready" I say again and he stands up dropping his book on the coffee table.
"Ah you're ready now well I don't care" He says walking off and I groan quietly following him at 1am in the morning and I didn't even know he would be awake. I just took floo powder in the heat of the moment after my encounter with Draco.
'Your joking right, The non stop letters and yelling at me and know you don't care" I say and he stops and turns around to look at me.
"Yes, that seems about right."
"Please I can't do it anymore"
"Do what Skylar"
"Handle this thing without control"
"Your power is not a thing Skylar and I won't teach you anything till you understand that" HE cross his arms waiting for a response from me.
"I understand it not a thing, It just I'm really stressed out" I say and he takes a seat on the stairs
"It the Malfoy heir right" He says and I give him a certain look and he taps his forehead
"It easy to get in one minds if the one allows them" He says and I nod
"You've given that boy such a hard time" He says and I lift my head up faster than someone casting a curse in a duel.
"Me" I say placing my hand over my chest
"Yes you if only you know your father plans for you" He says shaking his head
"What plans tell me"
"No you just have to wait and see" He says and I scoff
"Well I just have to train you in the summer my dear." He says standing up
"I can't wait until summer" He signs and scratches his head
"Fine, Severus will have to train you while you in school"
"Wait Severus can do-"
"No of course not"
"So he knows"
"Of course he knows he been looking out for you since you first went to hogwarts" He says then yawn
"Go back to school i'll Severus for you"
"Alright"
JANUARY
I bounce my leg up and down looking at the clock in the great hall. The first day for school since break and eveyrones in the great hall eating. My friends are having a conversation but I'm not paying attention due to my late package.
Ever Since I talked to Severus he said he would train me either till I know my family legacy myself. So I'm waiting on a book my grandfather sent but it was supposed to arrive last night but of course it was late.
"Nervous about the test" A voice says and I look up to see Draco looking back at me. His bags are gone and his hair is neatly combed. He was wearing the regular uniform but with the perfect badge of his robe.
He acts as if nothing happen on the tower that night and maybe that's how it should be
"Ooooh you didn't study did ya" Theo says making Blaise laugh
"Of course she did she Skylar" Tori says grinning
"I'm not worried about the test, I'm waiting on something" I say and Draco raises an eyebrow at me before taking a bite of his green apple.
