Skylar POV
I'm so stupid how can I get excellents grades and he so stupid. How could I get feelings for the number one player in hogwarts. I don't deny them but they're so sick knowing he'll never want anything more and mainly all of us don't have a choice to date. Our parents have been talking about arranged marriages for the past few years and I was safe because my mother promised she won't let it come to that for me but most times I confort Tori when she gets upset about her parents still trying to put her in one. My Father and Mother get into fights about this all the time saying he wants to keep our pure blood line pure and the only way to do that is marriage to another pure blood which is the way I say home for Christmas last year not wanting to hear his ways all day for a month.
Harry Challenge was going to be in 3 weeks and he was a nervous wreck. I promise him I'll help him the day before and sit at the Gryffindor table with him. Well I promise Hermione that because she informed me Harry hasn't been eating because of his task. I had only a few spells that would stop a dragon for a minute or so but the spell wouldn't hurt them. The professor dismissed us and I slowly pack up and Told Tori I'll see her at dinner. I had to meet up with Harry Hermione to help him with some spells. Once I was finished packing I walked out and start heading towards the library. I sat next to Harry and greet him.
"Are you okay" Harry ask I broke out of my daze and face him
"I'm fine why you ask"
"Maybe because you've been staring at the table for the last 5 minutes" Hermione cut in and said I blushed and shook it off
"I'm fine just have a lot on my mind recently" they nodded and went back Into talking about the task for the rest of the time I gave them the spells and Harry sat there confused on them and I explained this is the safest way for you and the dragon. He gave me a crooked look.
"Wait why for the dragon" he ask
"Do you want to kill it" I exaggerate
"N no no of course not but will the spells keep it down enough for me to complete the task."
"I don't know Harry I never fought a dragon before" he blushed in embarrassment and Hermione laugh at this
" She right Harry although the spells look good enough there, no telling how long they will stay down or will it actually work."
"Is there anyway to check if they work" he ask
"It is not like we can use them on a person but there may be another way." Hermione says
"An expert" I say
"An expert, what expert?" Harry ask
"On dragons" I say
"Yeah but we don't know anyone who is an excerpt" Hermione says
"Yeah we don't but we do know someone who knows a lot about Magical creatures." Hermione and eyes widen in excitement
"HAGRID" we both say and we all sit up from our seats.
"Bloody hell Skylar you're a genius" Harry says as he hugs me. I looked out the window and frown.
"We can do it tomorrow, it 's too late by the time we have dinner . It will be late and no one want a detention" Hermione nodded in agreement as we started walking to the great hall.
"Harry, Skylar and I will go to Hargrids tomorrow you need to preserve and study more spells." Harry rolled his eyes but agree to what Hermione had said. I said my goodbyes to them and walk to the Slytherin table. The rest of the group came in and sat with me.
