Chapter 70

Skylar POV

"She won't tell me the truth" I say walking into Severus office. My mother came and started crying telling me things that don't matter but won't tell me anything I want to know. 

At this point in my life having a brother that I apparently forgot about i'm taking this information well. Sebastian looks up at me and give me a small smile shrugging his shoulders

"I figure she would rather lie than be honest" He states before signing hold up his arms revealing the cuffs that are still on him. 

"I don't know if I can give you back your memories but I can show you what I saw if you uncuff me" He says and I give him a look

"How can I trust you" I say and he scoffs

"I'm your brother all I want is to have a relationship with you again" He says and I sign. I walk over to him examining the cuffs. The iris parts of my eyes glow a light purple as my power surges through me, I lift my hand reaching for the cuffs when the door slams open. 

My mother walks in her eyes red and puffy gasping at the sight of Sebastian then gasping even louder when she see me. I was confused at first until I realized she never knew I had inherited the ability. I drop the energy and stand straight up causing Sebastian to groan.

"You never told me you could-"

"Now not the time to start complaining on things I don't tell you" I cut her off and Sebastian snicker at this and I look at him

"What are you five" I say and he laughs

"Close, I'm nineteen Kyky" He says answer two question his age and how many years were apart

"Why are you here Sebastian" My mother says and Sebastian laughs

"Nice to see you too mother" He says and I smirk a little
"I told you I would be back didn't I" He says and her face drop

"It's been years" She says and he scoffs

"Tell me something I don't know, But I did come back earlier we both know how that went" He says with harsh tone as he glares at her with hatred in his eyes.

"What is he talking about" I ask and she gives me her sad eyes

"Sk-"

"You want to tell her or shall I" Sebastian says not taking his eyes off her

"Sebastian please" My mother says and he roll his eyes before turning towards me

"Eight years ago, a year after I had ran away I had came back from you" He starts and I see him tense at the memory
"When I went into your room there was blood everywhere and you were laying dead on your bed" He says and my mother starts to cry some more. I stay silent trying to put the pieces together obviously that dead person wasn't me because i'm alive but if it wasn't me then who died.

"Then who died" I ask and Sebastian gives me a smirk

"No one when I found out you were alive I did some digging to make sure you were you and the who thing was fake" He says and I scoff. I look at my mother who was still crying and wasn;t denying anything so I know he telling the truth.

"I can show you" He says when I don't say anything, he up his arms again signaling to take off the cuffs off.
"I won't hurt you I would never I swear" He says and I nod reaching for his cuff to which my mother scream.

"Don't you dare take of the cuffs Skylar" She yells 

"Don't you even care he back, he your son" I say and she nods

"Of course I do there wasn't a day that I didn't miss him but there are things you don't need to know" She says and Sebastian makes an gagging sound

"Nice speech mother" He says smirking and pretending to wipe tears from his eyes before hold out his arms again. I look at my mother before turning back to him and grabbing the cuff the breaks when I pull them off. He rubs his wrist for a moment then looks at me. He stands up quickly placing both of hands on the side of my head then blank.
