George wasnt really sure what he expected when Dream pulled into the gated driveway, but it sure wasnt a home as fancy as this.
"A house near the beach?" Sapnap mused, wide eyed.
Dream nodded, parking the car. "Yep. Its smaller inside than it seems, trust me."
"Whens your friends arriving?" George asked, stepping out of the car.
"Tomorrow, i think?" Dream replied, leading the two up the steps and to the front door. He unlocked it, and let them inside.
His parents house was a lot like a typical beach house youd see in the movies. It was spacious, with floor to ceiling windows and fancy led lights.
"Tonight, we get our own rooms." Dream announced, facing them. "Theres three rooms, all beds are decent sized. When they come, we'll have to share."
"Dibs!" Sapnap yelled out, latching onto George.
"Hey!" George yelped, shoving him away. "You dont get to claim me, what if Dream wanted to share with you?"
"Hell no," Dream scrunched up his nose. "He snores and kicks in his sleep."
"George stays in one position like, the whole time," Sapnap interjected, "So, i claim."
"Ill pick who i want later, idiots." George replied, pushing past them both. "For now, im claiming a room and then passing out. Unload my bags, please."
If they wanted George as their roommate, they would. And knowing those two idiots, theyd turn it into some sort of competition.
"Its awkward between us," Dream mumbled down at his hands. "How do i fix it?"
"Make sure he knows how you feel." Sapnap told him, keeping his voice quiet. "Thats all you can really do."
Dream frowned slightly, "What if even i dont know? Its confusing for me, too."
Sapnap smiled, "I know hes going to chose you to bunk with him. I know he has strong feelings for you, he just doesnt know what kind of feelings they are."
"I wont rush it."
"Good."
George stepped back to his door, staring down at the floor. So, they do talk about this type of stuff. He held his breath, opened his door, and closed it loudly. Their talking stopped as the sound echoed through the house.
"Hey," He smiled, rubbing his eye as he entered their view. He faked a yawn, "Sorry for sleeping so long."
"Its okay." Sapnap assured him, returning the smile. "You sleep okay?"
"Yeah, that beds comfortable."
"Should be," Dream replied, taking a drink of his water. "Its my room."
George glanced at Dream for a moment, shock settling over him. "You let me sleep in there without saying that? Dream!"
Dream laughed, standing up. "Youre okay, i didnt mind."
"Well, now i know i have to share the room with you or else ill feel guilty." George teased, though the two boys knew it was going to happen anyway. George was a clingy koala and Dream was his tree.
"So then im stuck with who?" Sapnap asked, frowning.
George took a seat next to him, taking his water bottle from his hands. He took a drink, looking up at Dream.
Dream scoffed, taking a seat on the other side of George. George sat back into the sofa so the two could look at each other as they spoke.
"Karl. Youre gonna love him, i promise." Dream smiled, "Ill make Bad and Q."
