"Knock knock, sleepy head."
George rolled over in his bed, watching as the door slowly started to open.
Dream poked his head in. "Are you decent?"
He smiled, slowly sitting up. "Yes, come in."
The door creaked opened all the way. Sounds from the living room echoed in, Sapnap was yelling and screaming, probably playing a video game with the others.
Dream smiled, sitting at the edge of the bed. "Are you going to nap all afternoon?" George frowned in response, reaching for his phone. Dream shook his head, "Its almost sunset, George."
"Dont caaaaare," He whined, falling back into bed. Dream laid his head on Georges stomach, nuzzling into him. George ran his fingers through his hair, smiling. "Lets just stay like this, who needs the outside world?"
"You and i both do."
George scowled, "Says who?"
"Says me. You need a shower, so get up." Dream sat up, pulling the blanket off of George.
"No!" George cried, rolling onto his stomach. "I want to nap, i need it."
"And i need you to get up, please?"
"Hmm, why?" He glanced up, squinting at him. "Whats in it for me?"
"I want to sit on the beach with you," Dream hit him with a pillow, "Up!"
"Oh my God, fine! Im up!"
It didnt take too long for them to finally head out the back door. Only fifteen minutes of arguing about clothes, food, and the weather.
George insisted on shorts because it was hot, and Dream insisted the weather was fine enough for him to not have to change three different times.
He ended up in the shorts, though, of course. Dream was just glad to have him out of bed and being productive.
It was nice seeing George with a smile on his face. How naturally beautiful it looked on him, he deserved to always be happy.
"Can i ask why you slept all day?" Dream finally asked, glancing over at him.
George shrugged, wrapping his arms around his knees loosely. "Just wanted to sleep, it was nice."
"Usually," Dream spoke with caution, "when people sleep so much like that, its because theyre avoiding something. Can i know what that is?"
He shrugged again. "I just wanted to not do it today, it was easy."
"Not do what?"
George stayed silent, listening to the ocean. He closed his eyes, resting his chin on one knee. He could feel his impatience growing in his stomach, this was really about to happen.
"Do we have to talk about it?" He asked quietly.
Dream nodded in response. "Its important to talk about this stuff, even if its hard."
George rolled his eyes at that. "I was tired, Dream. Thats all."
"Nope, youre lying."
"How?"
He poked Georges shoulder, "Because a minute ago you said you didnt want to do it today. What is it?"
"Dont worry about that." George urged, "Im outside now, getting fresh air and spending time with you. So, lets just enjoy that and enjoy your little victory."
Dream frowned. "It isnt much of a victory if youre looking all tense like that. You seem like you want to talk about it."
"Well, i dont." He gave Dream a fake smile,"So, lets just sit here."
