16.Supprise

You were still occupied guiding the kids run back to their homes when Casita broke down, due to the fact that the earthquake had caused significant damage to the town. And when you finally had time to rush to the magical home, you heard rumbles and heard others say that the Madrigals had gone to the mountain to seek Mirabel, who had vanished the instant she stepped out of Casita.

You sat quietly on the rubble, staring helplessly at the once-beautiful and lovely house you frequently pass by and wave hello to. (Y/n) and Camilo have been dating for a while, and you guys keep it so hidden that even Dolores is clueless. You two decided that after Isabela's proposal dinner was completed smoothly and successfully, he would introduce you to the family.However, it ends up being so horrible that all you can do is reassure him that you will be able to do it later.

Still, you don't actually have a chance since Casita broke down, and now your secret lover is wandering over the mountain looking for his prima, while you can't help-

Wait. You could help him. Of course, not on your own, you get up and run to the village, a faint grin on your lips. The Madrigals have always helped Encanto; they are the main reason Encanto may live happily ever after, and it is now Encanto's turn to repay them.

 You stood proudly in front of the anxious villagers and began to spread words and words of encouragement and gratitude to the Madrigals. And when the smiles and determination in their eyes begin to rise, you finally point to the shattered Casita:

"50 years ago, the Madrigals shown us how to get up in our darkest time"

"Now, it's our turn"

Camilo smiled quietly as he saw his prima speak to his Abuela about how they may restore their home. He had lost his gift, but that was fine since his family was still at his side, and he could handle anything with them here. But then his thoughts turned to you; he noticed the earth cracking on his route up the mountain; are you okay? Would you still love him now that his gift has been taken away? Will you be angry that you haven't had time to properly reveal your relationship to others?

But before he could ask any further questions, he heard the sound of hundreds of people in the back, and Antonio gently announced:

"I think that's everyone in town!"

He turned around to see the locals all gathered, carrying their tools and heading towards them.But at the front line, there was (Y/n), and the moment their eyes connected, they smiled brightly. And, not wanting to waste another second, they broke into a sprint in front of everyone, hugging one other. He was concerned about you, and you are as well. The two of you forget that there are others around you, and you forget that your relationship is still a secret for the time being.

 You let go of his grasp and began to kiss his face, you were so worried about him, and Camilo tightened his grip for a brief while before laughing, his cheeks turning red:

"Amor...we don't have to reveal the secret anymore eh?"

That's when you realize you've forgotten where you are, and your face quickly warms up when you notice The Madrigals' surprised expression. Mirabel screamed, while Isabela excitedly shook Dolores's shoulder, and Pepa smiled so wide while holding Felix that you'd swear if her gift was still there, a rainbow would have bloomed. Abuela Alma gives you a sweet grin, as if she were recalling something. To make matters worse, Camilo laughs lightly at the situation before turning around and telling his family, his eyes look at your rosy cheeks lovingly:

"Everyone, please welcome (Y/n), my oh so gorgeous partner."

Casita could wait a few moments, but now? Let Camilo to enjoy his family's emotions as they began to greet you and thank you for bringing everyone here.
