Athena x Reyna Arellano

Reyna was enjoying a cup of hot coco near the fountain of Bacchus as she overlooked New Rome. Now that the war with the giants was over everything had gone back to normal.

The daughter of Bellona had never expected how much she could enjoy a normal day where all she had to worry about was her paperwork as Praetor of New Rome.

She sighed contently.

The peace however didn't last long. She saw a person walking around near the border of New Rome.

Who were they? And more importantly, what were they doing here?

Reyna shook her head. She really had to jinx it again didn't she? Hoping life as a demigod could be normal was like hoping your ice cream is immediately ready to scoop once you take it out of the freezer.

Everybody wants it, but it never happens.

She sighed again and made her way down to where the person was. When she reached her she felt a vague feeling of recognition. As if they had met before, but Reyna was positive she had never seen this stranger before.

"What makes you think I'd let you enter?" Terminus let out a laugh.

"What makes you think you can stop me?" The stranger, a woman, asked in return.

"I am the God Terminus. What makes you think I can't?" The statue boasted.

"Perhaps the fact fact that you don't have arms?" The woman pointed out.

Terminus seemed hurt by the fact.

"How dare you?!"

Then he seemed to twist his feelings around.

"You know what?! I don't have to take this. Not from anyone. Especially not a Graecus!"

"You say that as if it is going to insult me." The woman stated in a bored kind of way.

"I for one am proud of my heritage." She added.

"Of course you are." The god scoffed.

Reyna had heard enough. Whoever this woman was she better explain or leave. The daughter of Bellona cleared her throat.

"Care to explain what's going on here?" She asked the statue that towered over her.

"She's trying to enter the city." It grumbled in response.

"Which is a problem because?" Reyna urged, not in the mood for the vague pieces of information gods liked to throw around in a random order.

"Because she's Greek obviously!" Terminus exclaimed.

"So? We have Greek demigods studying in our university."

"Let me put it differently. If her name had been Minerva I might've let her in. But her?! No way."

"Rude." The woman muttered.

'If her name had been Minerva.'

Reyna looked at the woman again. She vaguely reminded her of her friend Annabeth. She had the same stoic look. If you didn't know her you might think she was always scowling, but in truth she was just thinking.
